Cambio.com … This just may not suck as much as Fan Family Experience!

OK, before you let loose in the comments calling me a naive Kool-Aid drinker, let me just say that my expectations were so low for today’s announcement that a well-produced two and half (or so) minute video filled with a bunch of my favorite people struck me the right way.

What we know:

  • It is a website that will have lots of stuff and has the possibility to be cool (or not).
  • “Cambio” means change (which makes you want to nibble on your finger nails), but it also means exchange (which I think is more of what they are going for).

Pros and cons for this not-yet-fully-revealed website, plus the announcement video after the jump.

The Guys took a moment at the end of their tour to have a chat with the very nice people at Much Music. They also took the opportunity to properly introduce (our friends, your friends) Honor Society to the Canadian Fans.

This is a nice long appearance, and they talk about all sorts of things such as secret talents, Frankie, Twitter, and they answered fan questions of every ilk. They also played a game (that was very reminiscent of on they played on the Today show from last spring). Joe did a rap about coffee, concerts, and dessert, they cleared up the misconception that they take a long time to get ready, and asserted that they never fight only quarrel  (over the PS3 controller no less). It is a very cool appearance.

I have to say I was very impressed at their ability to answer questions and sign for fans at the same time. First class.

The biggest news from the show is that BOTH Joe and Nick will stand for Kevin at his wedding. Which is nice.

Honor Society performed two songs “Over You” and “Where Are You Now” and sounded great.

Watch it all after the jump!

[*The Tennessean really nailed it with that line.]

And so, four days later, we take a bow on Nashville and the Ryman here at Sibling Revelry…(above is one of the, like, three photos I took during the show.  I was too busy surreptitiously bootlegging the audio with my camera, heehee.  And my other shots were of the “I could get that on a postcard” variety…if only we’d been there longer!)

Needless to say, I am so impressed about the way we all managed to experience Sunday’s show together – as evidenced by the frenzy of the past few days!!  It’s been quite a thing to witness and I’ve had so much fun chatting back and forth with you guys about various things – and also catching my breath and taking up with a New Year’s return to routine – that I have been remiss in my blogging duties.  As if nothing else is going on in the Jonasphere…as if!!

So, in the interest of bloggerly closure, here are the encapsulated, final impressions Cpaig and I took away from the Ryman.

Of course, a post about the magical show would not be complete without (OMG!) a surprise (ish!) guest appearance from one of our dearest friends…and (VIDEO UPDATE!) JB & Friends, themselves…so hop over the jump to read and see…

What a weekend!

It was so surreal. We got on the plane in dark, cold and dreary Philadelphia, PA – flew over the rainbow (aka Minneapolis, MN) – and landed in a vibrant, technicolor Oz (Las Vegas, NV) complete with Emerald City!

There were lions, fountains, and Jonas….OH MY!

It really goes without saying that the show was awesome. After seeing 6 Jonas Brothers shows of various types (in store acoustic, short set, full set), I feel confident in saying that a Jonas Brothers show is guaranteed to be a great show!

Get all of the details after the jump!

…because I was unable to go to the free concert the Guys gave last night at The House Of Blues in LA for their family, closest friends, and 800 very lucky fans.

The concert seem to have had a very laidback feel with lots of special guests and covers of favorite songs. It was really a celebration of music, love, and friendship resulting in what seems to have been an amazing experience. It was a party.

I really know nothing about the show other than what can be gleaned from some clandestinely recorded vids that have appeared on YouTube, so I apologize if I omit anything.

From what I can piece together the Guys covered John Mayer, The Beatles, Bob Marley, Switchfoot, Coldplay,  and Stevie Wonder with the help of Jordin Sparks, Demi Lovato, Jesse McCartney, Dan Aykroyd, Honor Society and Frankie J (no, not that one). We also get to hear JT and Ryan cover a classic.

Moreover, we get to see a whole new Jonas Brothers – where Nick messes up and laughs about it, Joe sings with beautiful melancholy, and Kevin belts out in a way that would make any red-blooded woman faint flat out.

All right, pick your jaw up off of the floor and follow me over the jump for vids! w00t vids!
