Yes, we are here! A thousand times ‘yes‘!
As most of you know, those Jonas boys continued a snowballing run of energy from the AMAs and the House of Blues right into the NBC studios for an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. They were in an easygoing mood (at this point they could do this in their sleep, couldn’t they?) and hilariously high spirits, promoting the new book and, as always, the album, and chillin’ next to Ron Howard. It was delightful to watch them full-on in their familiar, three-brothers-teasing-each-other-on-a-couch mode.
And they played “Shelf”!!! I might burst. So many wishes already fulfilled in one week and it’s only just getting started (certainly for us, but even more so for them…before they even meet us in Vegas, they’ll be off to Dallas and New York).
Videos after the jump!
My favorite moments included:
- The Ballad of Kevin’s Forgotten Birthday: Nick was PRICELESS mocking Kevin’s meeping birthday reminders (haha, Cpaig how much more can you two be the same person? Scary).
- Joe Flunks Stand-Up 101: Aww…he surely could have benefited from an old school stand-up brick wall behind him, perhaps. But he did manage to play off his seriousness and seem to be making fun of himself all at once, in that uniquely Joe way that he should patent and perhaps bottle. (Does anyone think he meant to say “the right brother” instead of “the right person”…or would that have been just a step too snarky?)
Fantastic!!! Seriously, guys. I have always loved this song. (This video cuts it a bit short, unfortunately…if you find a version that is totally full & high-quality, let us know!) And it is one that a lot of nay-sayers can’t even deny. So is this officially the new single yet? Will there be a new video in production?
What did you like?
