Here’s a bit of a Flashback! Remember WAY back in October when the Guys were on a promo tour in Europe? Well we still have a bit of footage we haven’t posted before, from the UK show Everybody Loves Lil Chris.
This show seems to be a fast-paced show for tweeners (much like Chris himself). It appears to have several recurring bits such as “Dare Us” and “Wildlife Busking.” My favorite being “Wildlife Busking”, as in this episode Lil Chris dresses up like a dung beetle and sings “I’m a dung beetle, I smell of poo.” So I am thinking the main demo is tween boys…(though for tween-geared media I personally much prefer this informational animal song about giraffes*).
The Boys have a quick segment where they talk about the basics (are you brothers?, how did you start?), chat a bit about embarrassing moments (AMAs, anyone?) and then they are asked to dispense some fraternal advice (by guys who seem to be older than tweens – so what do I know!?**). They seem to find the question, asking for advice about working with a brother who puts him down all the time, funny. Well, Joe and Kevin seem to think it is funny.
It is all very cute indeed.
(*Now they just need to make one of those on narwhals.)
(** OK, so it turns out that the two non-tweeners who “ask” the Boys questions about brotherly relationships are the characters Phil Mitchell from the British soap “Eastenders”, and Rodney Trotter from the well loved British comedy series “Only Fools And Horses.” Needless to say they were having a bit of a go at the Boys – it’s all in the spirit of fun. Thanks for the tips, Merry!)
Check it out after the jump!
