Well, the Boys have begun their tour with Avril Lavigne in Glasgow, Scotland and they have decided to keep us in the loop every step of the way. The Brothers will be posting daily blog posts during the tour which is exciting and overwhelming at the same time (for a JB blogger). So far, the first three posts have been very sweet and have described packing, arriving, planning to see a movie, and last by not least the concert experience. Read all about it on their MySpace blog.
Here is how they described the experience of going on stage the first night:
The concert started a few minutes late because people were still coming into the venue. Most of the people were in place by the time we took the stage. They did not know most of our songs but they got into it and they encouraged us to sing our hearts out. By the end people were clapping, shouting and joining us. It was awesome.
It is fun to go back in our memory to when it was new in America. There were so many times that we opened for someone else (or had small groups of people in our shows) and had to find a way to connect. It is frightening and strangely wonderful to work hard on stage and hopefully win over a crowd.
