We are glad the record setting blizzard did not put a damper on the day…I guess it was a white wedding for real! (I am so so sorry, I have been trapped in the house all day with this storm – I’m a little punchy).

People Magazine reports the wedding was like a fairytale, and we will see their “wedding album” in the December 30th issue of People. I can’t wait!

But now- from our bloggerly standpoint, anyway – it is time to let them enjoy this happy time, and for us to take a holiday blog break of our own.

On Saturday, Kevin and Joe interrogated Nick all about his new side project Nick Jonas and the Administration on Radio Disney.

The big brothers asked Nick about recording the album, finding the sound, touring on his own, nutrition and his voice, and how the NJA shows will differ from JB shows.

As it turns out, according to the Jonases, a major difference will be that Joe and Kevin will not be there, and the shows will be intimate and all about the music.  Joe and Kevin, though they will be checking out as many NJA shows as they can, will be chillaxin’ (*high five*) in one way or another. Cool.

They also ask Nick about what it was like to premiere his project in front of so many music legends and how Kevin has to remember to give Smokey Robinson that call…

This is a great interview! Nick talks about the decision to pursue this solo project, telling his brothers, why he wants to be president and twitter. He also performs an acoustic version of “Rose Garden,” the first song written for Who I Am. I really dig the song, it is haunting and Bluesy .

Nick J and the Administration Debut !

It’s here!

The information we  have be waiting for in regards to Nick Jonas and the Administration! Or now we officially have ALL of the info.

We know:

1. Nick J and the A will be debuting on the Grammy Nomination Concert which will be broadcast on CBS at 9 – 10 pm ET/PT on December 2nd - Kinda a big deal.

2. The single “Who I Am” will be available to buy on iTunes on December 3rd (he will also be on Ryan Seacrest).

3. He’ll be making an appearance on Alexa Chung’s MTV show on December 8.

4. Nick J and the A are going on tour in January (They will be playing a quite awesome venue in Philly where I dream one day to see JB). Get all of the dates HERE!

5. The Nick J and the A’s album “Who I Am” will be released on February 2, 2010, and can be pre-ordered now.

We’ve got the deets, now we just need to hear more than 35 seconds of beats.

I, for one, am really looking forward to it!

BUT…

That being said, if NJAs performance gets more critical praise than JB ever have I may have to smack my head against a wall several times. Just sayin’. I think this is what we are all afraid of – is it not?

No offense, Nick – I love ya, I do, but this kind of feels like having to vote for one sister over the other for elected office.

I also don’t want to assign too much praise before I hear the beats … the beats, Nick, give us the beats!

Well, here we are again everybody – the end of a tour. *sniff* This one has been a doozy…with them being on the road for 6 months, their only break being to film a flippin’ movie in Canada (slackers).

Before they come home they have a couple of things to do. Those things being Joe’s Special Olympics 5k Fun Run activities and of course a concert for good old Dublin, Ireland, then a tour-closing Thanksgiving day show in Paris, France.

Joe – whose who’s doing a Fun Run on Tuesday in town had to be canceled due to weather and security problems – wasted no time in getting to one Special Olympics center in south Dublin on Monday, where he played a pick up game of basketball with program participants. (There are really no words to do this justice!)

OK, sooo, this past week was a little traumatic.

Most importantly, Nick’s upper respiratory infection caused JB to cancel their show in Zurich due to illness- an unprecedented happening.  He was told not to talk or sing for a bit, but was nice enough to send us a tweet assuring us he is starting to feel better and looking forward to the Bilbao show. We hope Nick is all better real soon (but will also understand if he needs to rest).  Mr. President? Mr. Neverwantstostopsident is more like it.

Causing more trauma was the announcement from John Taylor that European M.E.N are (most likely) not logistically possible this tour.

Is there an opposite for squee? How about bloooo?

Blooo!

Nah, Guys we understand. We want everybody to be well, and not stress about providing us with super awesome playlists whilst their mobile phones mercilessly rack up roaming charges. We cool.

All things begin equal (and healthy) this should be a great week. We’ve got two stops in Spain, a  night in the Netherlands, and a bash in Belgium.

WOW.

OK, last week was AWESOME! Music, interviews, headbands, pageboy hats, indoor scarves, and Kevin rocking a military jacket like no other. Oh, yeah, and they seem to have added “Don’t Speak” to their set list (buying my tickets to Rotterdam right now – *sigh* – I WISH!…).

We are sad to announce the cancellation of the Jonas Brothers concert for this evening in Zurich.  Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers is ill with an upper respiratory infection of the nose and throat and the doctor has advised that he not speak or sing.  This is the first time that the Jonas Brothers have ever cancelled a show for sickness and deeply regret that they will not be able to perform as a group tonight.

The band, the management, and the promoter apologize that the show must be cancelled on such short notice.  We will do everything we can to revisit Zurich in the future and perform for our wonderful fans. (MySpace)
