Not to downplay his many other admirable qualities, but I’d have to be in deep denial not to be able to see that Joe Jonas has some seriously fascinating HURR.
I don’t think it’s shallow to say so, it’s a simple fact.
Because of the recent watershed moment in Joseph’s hair evolution, I think now is a good time as any to hop aboard the rollercoaster ride of Joe’s notable hairstyles since the JoeHawk…take to the jump and reminisce, mourn, celebrate, regret and/or praise in the comments!!

YAY first! LOL anyway.. Thank you for this… I am just so proud of him!! Of all of them. There is no way Joe could ever look ugly..and I for one am glad the joehawk is back! I feel in some ways that it is a glimpse into the future of their careers. They will continue to call the shots and where they want to go..I feel like i am not making sense, but in some ways i feel like the do is a way to stick it to the man and say you know what I am living life on my terms.. We are not going to be a produced pop machine we are going to do what we feel passionate about and you can either take it or leave it. We’ll take it Joe.. we’ll take it!! ♥

You know the only style I dislike was the rigid anime one (like pic 8). I know he had that after he cut his head open, and idk if it was formed into a shingle at times to hide stitches or a scar, but I didn’t like that one.
I loved his last one, but I love this too! MM and I have actually been waiting for him to cut his hair short again. As odd as that sounds.
Thank you for handling my ridiculous rambles… I have been hoping he would cut it short again.. it just suits him. Ps. who is SO excited about this bulldozer album.. I am pumped!!!

In pic 19 he has, like, perfect shampoo ad hair. Perfect hair. It makes me think of what he said on Jimmy Kimmel about his wax statue: “They switched my hair with, like, a woman’s hair. It was, like, super pretty and flowing. I was doing my best, like right before– shaking it up.”

Yes, pic 19 is by far my favorite Joe-do. But I really love this new look. It is masculine and modern and shows off his gorgeous features.

It’s actually making me feel kind of wistful.
I love the new haircut and the fact that he’s willing to change it up so often is impressive.
The new haircut to me has a way of making him look more mature and handsome but in a youthful way, if that makes sense.
I can’t pick a favorite though..

I’m wondering too about what it all means..so many peeople are content to have the same haircut for life..yet Joe is so young and has already changed his hair so many times..
Ahh…the Haircut post! I know, we shouldn’t care so much about Joe’s hair, but he just looks so amazing. I seriously think he’s growing up into the best looking person the good Lord ever put on this Earth. I’ll be looking for him on the cover of People soon!
Looking at the DR pics from Sunday night took me back to about 2006.
And, Bulldozer was interviewed on our local Top 40 station yesterday morning! My daughter was just waking up and said they had just been interviewed, so I didn’t hear it. Kind of ironic since they never play JB……
I’m with you Monica, I feel that Joe’s appearance as “Most Beautiful Man” on the cover of People is an inevitability at some point in his career.
And this is said as a true-blue, die-hard Kevin-girl. Lord knows I love me some Kevin, but there is just something about our Dreamboat Captain that makes me say along with “Charlene Darling” from the “Andy Griffith Show”:

And Lord knows how much I love Nick and Kevin, but sorry boys, all eyes have been on Joe the past 2 days (at least for me). I didn’t even see the pics of Nick in the headband until just now. He’s rockin’ it!! I LOVE, LOVE the headband. He used to wear bandanas as a headband back in the day. So what’s goin’ on here?? Are they feeling nostalgic? I don’t know, but I love it. Next thing you know, Kevin will be straightening his hair (although I hope NOT)!
I actually think Kevin’s short hairdo at age 17 was really attractive on him and could work well now. Before he started straightening it, although when it was short, that was OK too. It’s only when it got long and he straightened it that I didn’t care for it. I think he rocks short hair.
he is the most beautiful man in the world as far as I’m concerned! no matter what hair he has.

haha! I know. My DH is not one of those. He changes hairstyles every so often. And facial hair!
Merry I keep meaning to tell you how funny this is – my DH has a “soul patch” – a la Chase Utley’s – it’s pretty much identical to his, in breadth and depth LOL…it looks great on him. I asked him to try it out!!!!
I like facial hair (other than the full beard/mustache thing). I like hair (we covered that today LOL!). In the past I asked him to grow a goatee and he stuck with that for a while til we both got sick of it!
My dad used to constantly experiment with hair – he even had a perm a la Mike Brady at one time! (hilarious) He slicked it back, he cut it in different ways, it was shorter/longer, and his facial hair was so funny. He would grow a mustache/beard out and then shave pieces of it away, like part of the beard, or the mustache, so funny. Also he experimented with lots of different sideburns in the 70s.
my favorite is #12. I love that look.
Love Joe’s new look but it’s very similar to Nick’s. Maybe that’s why Nick has been photographed wearing headbands lately. He rocked the headband during the DR concert. Not so much at the Caracas press conference. He was wearing it like a hairband (like I did in 9th grade decades ago). The teenies at jonashq. are NOT happy with Nick’s look!

I probably should put this under the “Do We Know This?” part but I just read on Parade.com that Denise Jonas said in an interview that Nick is working on a solo act called Nick Jonas and the Administration. She said that he was at the photo shoot for the cover right at that moment.
Since we’re picking favorite pic numbers, mine are #16 and #18, from the ones shown above. #16 being my favorite. I love Joe’s hair in the “Burnin’ Up” video, which I mentioned in a previous thread.
The only Joe hair that I didn’t like was the one in pics 9 & 10… When it was long and straightened. Every other style is just beautiful and I can’t pick a favorite!
I remember freaking out when he premiered the curls at the Kids Choice Awards – so gorgeous! – and now I absolutely freaked out again when I saw the new short do. I love it!!

I think I am the only one who wasn’t crazy about the full bangs look he had most recently. I liked the natural waves but I prefer the “over one eye” hair he usually sported.
I really love the hair he had in the Bonus Jonas DVD concert. He had that weird anime hair in the Camp Rock thing where the cast “introduced” the movie to the viewing audience – remember? Nick had a weird bandana on didn’t he? or a scarf? something. anyway, Joe’s hair was all flipped out for that and I did not care for that.
