Hey look, Revelers, the Lucas Brothers are those guys who wear their sunglasses at night!
So this movie starlet is hanging around Joe of Jonas in order to get herself seen and photographed. Wait a minute…is this my latest email alert, or the plot of the latest episode of JONAS?
Nothing like a little art imitating life [sort of], to enliven my Sunday night.
Find out what’s up with Joe and that girl who keeps throwing herself at him after the jump!
In tonight’s story this girl:
Fiona Skye, was grabbing onto Joe at every opportunity and claiming they were in love. Not that we can blame her, but her motives were definitely shady.
So tonight afforded us lots of Jonasphere goodies. We had the delightful return of nerdy Joe, whom we first met during Living the Dream. I’m a fan of Joe in a spit curl and a plaid button-down. And if that wasn’t enough, we got to see the motorcytcle complete with sidecar!

We also had more in the ongoing Joe-and-Stella-won’t-admit-how-crazy-they-are-about-each-other-but-we-all-know-it saga.
Didn’t get that non-Joe-centric episode we said might be a nice change of pace, but there were lots of laughs.
And c’mon how adorable did Stella and Macy look doing the slow-mo cool walk at the end?

But what about you, Revelers? What hilarious moments had you running for the blog tonight?
[Via: JonasPhotos.org (Photos)]

Nice, coolmom.
Loved Joe diving under the bedcovers, sobbing in nerd mode (which always has me thinking of old school Jerry Lewis).
As a Joefan, I almost feel like I should apologize for the run of Joe-centric eps that doesn’t seem to be ending next week either! I have to say, sometimes the flow of the entire season puzzles me…BUT I still liked this episode very much…I love when things get all meta on the darker side of fame as they’ve experienced it.
Which leads me to my other favorite line, when Fiona cries that the public always sides with the sad, scorned girl. (paraphrasing, obvz.) – hehe, wherever would one get THAT idea?!
Yeah, too true! This episode had layer upon layer of dark side of fame commentary. I could do an entire in depth article on just that aspect!
Like I said on Twitter, I almost feel Nick could have been the main character here.
Or they could have left Stella out of it. I am so frustrated with Stella not going for it with Joe, it’s like Judith Light and Tony Danza LOL. Anyway, it just makes it hard for me. I hope there’s no more of that storyline.
Also I want Macy with Kevin. Immediately.
When does Nick get an episode again? Does he? He really is funny and a good actor. Do people think that he’s not?
no Nick is very, very funny. I love his kind of humor. and he always looks so adorable..:)
I hope I won’t sound crazy if I tell you I love Nick’s voice. All the different little inflections he can have. I really like listening to him say pretty much anything.
Loved seeing the motorcycle and the side car; pretty fitting considering that Joe’s birthday was yesterday. I also loved (paraphrasing): She’ll head for the hills. Kevin: We’re pretty sure she lives there.
Yay! Nick with a scarf in the end scene!
I loved the head for the hills/pretty sure she lives there line!
Jan we were dying when they came out in that. Just earlier my daughter was saying we’d never seen him actually driving it.
yay for the scarf seconded. I love Nick in a scarf!
Some highlights:
Nick: “Let’s not be those guys who wear their sunglasses at night.”
“OK, let’s be those guys for 10 seconds.”
(And can I just add that they all look HOT in their sunglasses!)
Joe: “She put her arms around me for 10 seconds. A million girls have done that.
(Looks at camera) And everyone’s special. (Wink & point).
(closeup) Seriously.
That was priceless!! Totally died laughing! So “art imitating life”
Fiona: “You would scream if you could see me in the morning.”
Nick: “I could scream right now.”
(Love that line!)
Macy: “There’s absolutely no way you can make yourself less attractive.” (So true!)
Kevin: “We can put Nick in a wig and dress.”
Nick: “Haha. No we can’t.”
Kevin imitating the Joe’s hair flip and Nick imitating Joe’s nervous grin. Also priceless!
Stella: “Who am I kidding? He’s adorable.”
So much awesomeness in this episode. You know JB could totally identify with their characters in this episode.
I will say, too, that it seems this episode was filmed before the one we saw last week. I really wish they would try a little harder to air them in the order they were filmed. It would at least be interesting to KNOW the order they were filmed in. Then we could go back and watch them in order.
Hear, hear, Barbara. I want to know the correct order. There’s a story arc and character development arc that’s getting screwed up, and it’s really bugs the dramaturg in me!
I agree about the story arc and character development arc. Why don’t the producers/Disney seem to care about that? They think people don’t care, I guess?
I care. Too much Stella/Joe angst for moi!
How could I forget the “everyone’s special”?! So great.
And I would also like to view these episodes in order. Sigh!
My DH LOVED them falling over the garbage cans!
Oh and I loved Joe’s winking at the camera and saying that every girl who grabs him for a photo is special. Awesome!
Oh, and DH also loved Kevin’s “hair flip” and saying that it doesn’t work so well with his hair.
I’m chiming in my agreement with the wanting to see these (or find out the order) in correct order! I think the Joe/Stella storyline would make so much more sense (and Sondra, I think might be less annoying for you
) if it were in order. I happen to like the Joe/Stella storyline, but I’d like it more in the proper order.
I think I am actually jealous of a TV character. LOL!
Saw this tweet from a girl I follow because she posts at JonasHQ.org (I think): Thought it was well put:
I find the irony in the JONAS episodes amusing. It’s like they’re saying everything they can’t say in real life.. (from shrimponbarbie)
(Hope I’m not violating some twitter/Internet etiquette by reposting it here.)
I think that is very true. I suspect that JB enjoyed getting to comment on aspects of their fame within the safety of comedy.
Haha I love Jen (@shrimponbarbie)
She rules and made me THE sweetest Road Dogs shirt in the whole world.
This episode kept my mom and I rolling with laughter! (I watched it like, 4 times. And guess what! Detention…is Joe-centric. Funny, but Joe-centric. I want more Nick…just saying.)
Here’s my play-by-play with commentary (in bullet form!):
-Joe’s motorcycle and side car made an appearance! Yes! I’ve never seen it before. (Yes, me, super-fan. Never seen the motorcycle. Until now.)
-Nick’s sunglasses were my favorite
-”…and the tweets”-Dad Yes! Go Papa L! Pop culture reference! PS- Jonas fans OWN Twitter.
-They all flash their Verizon phones. Nick and I have the same one, except mine’s black, and my friend Kasi and Joe have the same as well. Clearly fate.
-”…and every one is special *winks* seriously.” Awwwwh, Joe! This one really does imitate life, in my opinion. That’s something they would say.
-Did anyone read the bylines on the magazines? “What’s Lurking in Your Sock Drawer?” hahaha
-”Kiss until they die kissing!!” Kevin is my favorite character. I fall in love just about every episode
-Sara Paxton as Fiona Skye is brilliantly obnoxious. I really started to get annoyed with her. An acting job very well accomplished.
-”I’m sure you’re a very nice girl!” And Paulo mouths “NO!” behind her. Haha
-Nick, you are adorable. Your facials are priceless.
-CLARINET GIRL! Does anyone recall the orchestra episode? “That Ding you do?” Well, the clarinet player who crosses her eyes and faints is in EVERY episode! Watch closely to the extras and you will see her (as well as a long dark haired short brunette). I do not know why this annoys me so.
-”And by ‘talk’ do you mean rip her hair out?” -Joe. Thank you! This is very “non-Disney-ish” to me. It’s realism. I love it. Because that’s something people would actually say.
-During Nick and Joe’s “But I am!” thing, Joe randomly says “Hey what’s up?” to some girl haha
-She lives in the Hills!! Love. Kevin. (my mom and I just bust up laughing everytime. I have converted her to a major Jonas fan. mwuaha)
-Nick’s “hands-on-hips” stance is my favorite thing ever tied with how his voice cracks when he says “Jo-oe” and his pretty bells.
-”I haven’t seen him this happy since he became a 5th level wizard!” Nick’s expression? Priceless. We died laughing for about 5 minutes.
-At the lunch table “Told you!” / “Haha, no ya can’t!” (“He’s such a grouch” -My mom haha @madwizrn on twitter follow her
) hilarious.
-I love how they use all of their real clothes. Nick’s leather jacket in the last scene is Gucci from the 17 Magazine June Cover (which I left at the BEACH! *sadness*)
Great recap, especially in bullet form!
I totally spotted Clarinet Girl.
I never saw the motorcycle before – didn’t know we couldve seen it any other time. But are you assuming it’s Joe’s actual motorcycle? I guess it could be. The wardrobe is their own. I recognize most of the shirts (some from multiple occasions).
I didn’t connect “the hills” comments with “The Hills” (MTV). Is this the reference they wre making? I thought they were using it to mean “run for the hills” (lowercase “h”).
I also like Joe’s “what’s up” indicating how cool he actually is. DH also loved that line.
Did anyone notice the Wizard pic was taken that day – that was hilarious to me.
I only saw it once because Sun is a big HBO night for me plus I had a Phillies game. All kind of irrelevant because I fell asleep for like 3 or 4 hrs. Which is why I am wake at 3 am writing on here…
I didn’t connect the Hills/hills thing either. I don’t know why I capitalize that sorry
and ooh go Phillies!
Oh, you confused me. I confuse easily!
Yes Go Phillies!
oh I never actually noticed that about the fainting clarinet girl..
thx Emily!
so funny.
I agree… on everything!
I really loved Nick in this episode… He was even more adorable than usual! The boy needs more lines…
PS- I talk too much, I know.
There’s no such thing as talking too much here on SR.
Second this!
GOD I HOPE NOT. Because I frequently talk to myself for hours on here when I am alone.
Nope, not at all!
I laughed so hard when they fell into the trash cans LBF yelled at me to be quiet.
I love it!
I LOVED that my DH loved it! It “validates my pride.” LOL
Have I mentioned that since seeing/meeting them in Vegas I love them even more? Like that was actually possible.
Love can grow. And Kevin, I adore him more than before too.
I love his interview with Brad Paisley SO SO SO SO SO SO SO MUCH. All the interviews are good but his is the most kickin’. I think because Brad is SOOOOOOOO awesome. Elvis Costello was a little uncomfortable with 15 yr old Nick interviewing him I think and BonJovi thinks he is Superman for real but Brad is like totally a normal person. I wish I could hear every single word they shared together.
yay! love to read all the recaps..I thought it was really funny but agree that it was shown out of context..
I mean there have been 2 kisses (well chaste sort of kisses but still) already so the “I’m not gonna kiss her” part was odd.
not to mention the not holding her hand, but her fingertips like she is subhuman. Very very strange.
My DH, who came walking through the room when Joe was in his nerd getup said, “that kid always has a 5 o’clock shadow.” It made me laugh.
Loved the dad’s references to “shorty” and “boo” – hilarious! And, loved it when Stella said “his heart” when describing Joe, which Joe later says “you said I was “hot” (or something like that).
Check out Jordin’s Twitter for a great pic of Joe and her and some of her band at the skate party. It’s cute!
Not at the skate party, but at an HS show…my bad.
Joe is going to be extremely hairy. He’s one of those guys (a la Ron Livingston, Homer Simpson LOL) that will ALWAYS have a 5:00 shadow. Dark dark hair and lots of follicles.
Okay. I have to go against popular opinion here. I wanted the cringe pillow I didn’t think I would need. Joe’s “inner nerd” skeeves me for some reason. Even so, I did love him scrambling under the bedcovers and Nick’s pretty bells.
I enjoyed the commentary on the dark side of fame. I felt like it was an opportunity for JB to tell fans that media is too easily spun and that sometimes, even when they are trying to set things right, they aren’t heard.
Kevin is adorable as the spacey, rather slow-to-catch-on brother, but I am growing a bit tired of the lack of character development for him that a Kevin-centric episode would provide. I know, I am an adult watching a show aimed at 7-11 year olds. Should I be complaining?
I loved the opening “sunglasses at night bit” and the cool slow-mo walk with Macy and Stella at the end.
Overall, it was a good episode, but it isn’t one of my favorites.
I’m with ya, sharpld…..Kevin is so cute, but his “I’m the dumb older brother” shtick kind of getting old. Yes, the Joe/Nerd scene was a bit cringe-worthy for me too. But, on the other hand, this episode had all of us laughing out loud often, especially in the beginning with the stumbling over the trash cans. Sometimes I think the directing on this show needs some help. Some of the camera shots aren’t necessary to get the point across. I don’t know what I’m talking about here, but it’s kind of like in Camp Rock where sometimes the timing is off. You know what I mean? Overall, I can’t wait for every new episode each week, so I shouldn’t be so judgmental, but only here can I share my thoughts about it all. I am EXTREMELY impressed with Joe’s acting. And what happened to the mom???
The mom is not a main character I guess. Kind of like Big Rob.
I love the show to death and I literally hoot and crack up over it many times during the week (plus watch old episodes, esp. the Nick centric ones…). But I am worried that they are going to run out of material about the pop star life for Season 2.
Not sure if there is enough funny stuff left without being repetitive. I am having faith.
I hear ya, ladies, but I loved Joe’s geek. It reminds me of his alter ego from this episode of Living The Dream:
http://siblingrevelry.wordpress.com/2008/05/30/im-alergic-to-air-watch/
So I couldn’t cringe too much.
I agree about the Kevin Lucas Character…as much as I love him.
The LTD “inner geek” and his famous “I got my library card and I am checking you out” does make me smile. I don’t know why I found this harder to watch.
At any rate, I do love the show. I think the brothers are doing amazingly well for first-time actors.
I liked Nick ringing the bells to get Joe to come to him. I don’t know who came up with that and it is decidedly weird but it struck me as hilarious.
Plus Nick was so freaking amused by Joe’s nerd antics that I had to enjoy the scene. When Nick is amused by Joe, I am amused by Joe.
I can see the cringing maybe…but I think his nerd has always had a snively/skeevy angle…maybe that’s the Jerry Lewis aspect I am recognizing, there. LOL.
But I understand, I think.
And I agree that Kevin’s shallower schtick (though well-played) as well as the relationship issues with Joe & Stella are getting to be dead horses being beaten. I thought some of the physical avoidance was v funny and well-played…maybe would have made more sense an episode ago, though.
Joe’s character is for sure the most well-developed at this point, but at the same time, it isn’t always the most flattering character. Beyond his basic delightfulness, he’s really a clueless, rather stubborn boy with a bit of a cowardly streak, no?
I still like it, though, and I brush off most of the show’s faults the way I did with things about Camp Rock. I like when it rises above “good enough for it’s demographic” (which I really never thought CR did), but when it doesn’t manage that, I just have to shrug it off as par for the course.
So far, it seems to me they frontloaded some of the season’s strongest episodes and certainly didn’t take to much care in properly ordering them, thereafter. I wish I knew why the Jonases seem to consistently get the short end of the planning stick round those Disney Channel parts.
This is gonna sound cold, but a Kevin girl, I am fast losing interest in JONAS! Too many Joe episodes and even a few Nick ones, are making me sad. Except for the one of Kevin about Macy singing, there has NOT been one more about Kevin. They need to develope his character more and let Kevin shine.
About the RS special issue, not happy with that either. Kevin has 1/3 less pictures than Joe and Nick(there are even a few of just Joe and Nick in brotherly love mode–AGAIN W/O KEVIN). Futhermore, WTHay is with Camilla getting more pics, and bigger ones, than Danielle? Danielle is going to BE a Jonas and Camilla is a thing of the past.
To be fair, when the Rolling Stone went to press, Joe and Camilla hadn’t broken up. And let’s face it, like it or not, she’s better known than Danielle.
I am mad that there hasn’t even been a special about Kevin and Danielle’s lovestory. I know that if it were Joe and a normal girl getting married, the press would be all over it. I dont know why they have to always ignore Kevin
I don’t think that’s necessarily true. Danielle seems like a sort of shy person. I don’t think she wants to be in the spotlight. She and Kevin worked hard to keep their relationship private and under the radar for a long time, I don’t think that’s going to change.
I agree about Camilla. People want to read about Camilla and Miley more than they want to read about the normal girl. (not people like me but people in general)
I don’t think Kevin and Danielle want to have a big deal made over them.
he flew home to Jersey to see her today and they were at Pottery Barn so they are probably registering! I bet that wedding is Q1 2010! I’m excited. Will he wear Dior? LOL
Did you count the photos Anna?
I vote for more Nick too. LOL
Seriously Wrong Song is the episode I constantly watch. His eyes. The way he says “oh” when he gets that she thought he wrote the song for her to sing. Oh, everything. The whole entire episode. Everything.
I would marry that episode.
Maybe Season 2.
sorry for another response.
Nick n Joe – that’s like a “thing.” It’s such fun to see their relationship that there’s got to be pics devoted just to that. I have my own collection. Ha ha!
I think watching them relate makes me love each of them a little bit more every time. I love watching them enjoy each other. It makes me feel good as a person and as a mom too.
Oh my God, you guys.
The concert. I’m flabbergasted. I’m composing an epic post tonight.
I’m literally still in shock and Sondra – I know exactly what you mean about being even more in love with them!!!! I didn’t think it was possible. My heart will actually burst by the time I am done with these 3 concerts.
Oh, and, just so you know…I am marrying Garbo and my daughter is marrying John Taylor.
OH Trish I can’t wait to hear EVERYTHING!!
I know I know!!!!!!!!
Hmmmm. I know I take possession of Nick and Joe frequently but I have to lay some claim to Garbo. He is a complete and total sweetheart. (I know I’m greedy.)
I thought that this episode was absolutely hilarious…
Here is my looooong (weekly) recap:
- The motorcycle with the sidecart! YES! Joe & Nick sure look good on that thing… And Kevin is rocking the sidecart, of course.
Seriously!” How can you not love this guy?
- “Let’s not be those guys who wear their sunglasses at night.” (I thought this line was hilarious because I hate it when people wear sunglasses just to look cool… lol) And then they fell over the trash cans, which of course had me rolling… And I LOVED the way Nick delivered his next line (“Maybe we should be those guys for about 10 seconds.”) He’s getting so good! Can’t wait to see him in Camp Rock.
- “I remember being there till I died laughing! Get it…? Cause I… laughed…”
- “Oh – I’m sorry little boy, don’t cry!” LOL… that was probably my favourite line in the entire episode…
- Joe’s flashbacks… “Oh wait…”
- “She put her arm around me for one picture – a million girls have done that! And every one’s special…
- “It was her necklace… I was just the ‘gorgeous hero’ who picked it up!”
- “Another day or two and this will disappear from all the magazines and all the blogs… And all the vlogs… And all Tweets.” (Ha!)
- “The scariest thing in this film is Fiona Skyye’s acting…”
- Fiona’s photographer mouthing “NO” when Joe says that he bets that Fiona’s a very nice girl
- “Fiojo”
- “I can’t do this anymore! I just read a whole page in my History book. She’s driving me crazy.”
- “I cannot believe they printed that! Now they’re not secret anymore, now you gotta go find new nicknames…”
- “And by talk you mean rip her hair out?” “If by hair you mean those cheap extensions…”
- the “What if you weren’t? – But I am” discussion
- I love the dress Fiona’s wearing when she goes to meet the “real” Joe…
- Joe’s bed… Hahahaha. Love the teddybears and all the cars!
- Joe releasing his inner nerd… again…
- Nick trying to get Joe to come out after Fiona “really hurt his feelings”
- Nick filling dad in on what’s going on
- “You would scream if you saw me first thing in the morning!” “I could scream right now…”
- “I haven’t seen him this happy since he became a 5th level wizard!”
- Still loving the dad… “No, no…”
- “No matter what I say or do, all the magazines are talking about is my romance with Fiona.” “Not true – they also mentioned that you’re a world-class nerd.” “Thanks Nick, that’ll do.”
- “There’s absolutely no way you can make yourself less attractive.” “Told you!”
- “We could put Nick in a wig and a dress!” “Ehehe, no we can’t!” (Love Nick in this scene…) “Yeah, you’re probably right… That’s more publicity than we’re looking for.” Lol.
- Joe taking Stella’s hand (well, finger)… “What do you want me to do with it?”
- “Wow- I’m a big spender!”
- Paolo in full JONAS-gear
- “It looks better with… not my hair.”
- “Alright, it doesn’t look good on my face… I get it.” (I’m going to have to disagree, Nick…)
- “You also said that I’m super hot, so…” “Okay I did not say that.”
- “Oh yeah?! Well your smile’s nothing special, you know! Oh who am I kidding, he’s adorable.”
The DVD comes out next month, right? Can’t wait!
Oh and PS – Camp Rock 2 is Nick-centric. Betcha didn’t see that comin’! Or maybe you did. Regardless, from what my sources tell me, It’s about Nick having a “Romeo-and-Juliet-style” love affair with a girl from a rival camp across the lake. Yep. Keep that on the DL.
as long as he’s in it more than Camp Rock. I will be happy. I don’t mind Joe Jonas on the big screen AT ALL.
In high definition on my 52″ TV set. Yes.
PS they better not interpret Romeo and Juliet incorrectly as Taylor Swift did LOL. Please Disney people READ the PLAY.
j/k
(and Peter and Wendy did NOT turn out fine…just sayin’.)
OK and while I’m at it, what the heck does “I wanna fight with you” mean Nick? why on earth would he come up with that. It does not sound very Jonas-y to me.
OK those are my questions. I seriously do think about it. I’ve got to start worrying about world peace more I think.
THANK YOU re: Romeo, Juliet, Peter Pan & Wendy. Please, kids, finish the books…or even just the movies!!!
Oh, but I want to ‘fight with you’ does make sense to me…I assume he means that about the “better” person…the person worth going through the angst of a relationship with, as opposed to the previous one who was a waste of the energy. LOL. My interpretation anyway.
fight with you makes me think of my very bad teenage relationship…and I don’t want either Nick or Joe fighting with anyone like that. But if “fight” means “struggle” like working stuff out, then OK, I get it. But the line is so simple it sounds like fighting and “make-up sex,” you know? Which can’t be what Nick intended.
I couldn’t understand every word but there is an interview in New Orleans on Jonas HQ and Nick says no they will not be at the VMAs because they will be filming Camp Rock 2 at that time. He seemed to say something about making promotionals for the VMAs though, based on Russell Brand’s virginity jokes -?? Maybe someone else can understand that section better.
I’m glad he just said “I’m single” instead of the whole complicated pacification stuff he had been saying when he was asked about MC.
Ooohhh, I am so relieved!! I wasn’t going to watch the VMAs anyway, so now I know I won’t miss anything. I guess there’s nothing wrong with them making fun of themselves little bit, but Russell Brand just makes me sick. It will be interesting to see what they do.
I think the “I wanna fight with you” just means some people aren’t worth fighting with, but in this song, this girl is worth it. I take it to mean TS just wasn’t worth it. But that’s my take on it. I could be way off.
I am thrilled at this news…THRILLED!!! It is a good reason…but we know they could have taken a day off and flown in if they wanted, eh?
Awesome decision.
[SNARK WARNING] And whatever promos they do (why must they?), they could not be more offensive than TSwift’s West Side Story one…oh, GEEZ.
i think this is now my favorite episode! the thing that had me rolling on the floor was nick saying “come on out joe, see the pretty bells”or something like that. hilarious.
So are we not going to have a blog on the week’s tour? If not, I’ll just go ahead and post it here since it’s the most recent…
I’ll do it in multiple parts so I don’t blow up the blog!
Part 1: Getting There
We arrived in Birmingham around 11:30 am. We ate our picnic lunch in the car before wandering about the convention center complex. There were a handful of girls gathered around the venue doors and Corinne sold a few of her buttons and earrings! LOL yes, I know, we should be ashamed.
We headed over to the Sheraton to look for the Team Jonas pre-party, but never could find it. Eventually we found where the buses were parked and there were a good many girls waiting there in the blistering sun. We waited for a few minutes and had to seek shade around the corner. Just then, a bus was pulling in. We caught a glimpse of Nick waving in the front window and Big Rob in the passenger seat. If we had stayed in the sun, we could have had a great view….live and learn! It was about 2:30 pm at this point.
After that, we trekked around the complex looking for the Main Box Office to pick up the M&G pass. Walked back over to the Sheraton to freshen up and cool off. Around 4:15 we headed to the M&G area to wait…
How can I stand the suspense waiting for the M & G? More, more, more!!!
LOL! Here ya go…
did you need Corinne’s birth certificate passport or both to pick up the bracelet?
Part 2: M&G
Needless to say, Corinne was a nervous wreck! About 5:15 they started checking passes and leading the winners into a room. Myself, and a couple of other parents with older kids had to wait in the lobby. We were told they would be in there about an hour! I don’t really understand the reason for taking them in only to make them wait some more, but it worked out well for Corinne because at one point, John Taylor came around the corner and looked in the room. Corinne nearly flipped her lid, but managed to wave at him – and he waved back!!! Then everyone saw him and he waved at everyone, then exited.
When it was her turn for the M&G, she entered the area and first shook hands with Kevin, then hugged him. She said the picture was taken pretty abruptly and with no warning so she wasn’t prepared to smile. She was worried all night that she wasn’t even looking at the camera, but luckily she was. Her expression looks a little solemn, but it matches Nick’s, LOL. It is clear by the photo who her favorite is, though…look at her hand clutching Kevin!
Then she gave Kevin her gift – Road Dogs buttons for the whole team! He said, “This is one of the sweetest gifts we have ever received!” Joe and Nick looked at them and Joe said he liked her earrings (button earrings with Bulldozer’s black couch photo) which prompted Nick to say “Did you make them?” (meaning the earrings AND the buttons) and she said “Yes” and they said “Wow!” and “Cool!” respectively. She said they seemed impressed and Kevin showed them to another guy she did not recognize. Then she got to hug Nick and Joe. On the way out, Big Rob was by the door and she extended her hand to give him a handshake. He shook it, then gave her “The Big Rob Nod” LOL!
Once she made her way out into the lobby, she fell apart, shaking and bawling her head off! Truly the best day EVER.
And here is the photo! http://i603.photobucket.com/albums/tt113/JBTrish/4G5C9966.jpg
OMG, how completely FANTASTIC for her!!! How cool to give something totally unique, they’ll really treasure. So happy for your darling girl!!!
Thank you!
She is still floating on air! She gave them about 25 buttons so hopefully enough for everyone.
Did she use a picture of the whole team?
Yes, we counted 21 I think, so she just rounded up…
Trish…fantastic..that picture is adorable…even without the smile..she just is right there with Kevin.
and the buttons
I’m dying-so happy for her!!
That is so amazing!! what a great experience!I am totally jealous, naturally. next tour , whenever this may be, I have decided to roll vip all the way. Because it is totally worth it. Can you say graduation present? Haha. Ps writing on an iPod touch is very difficult
the only thing is, you can’t buy a Meet and Greet. You have to know someone or win one. It’s so hard. The $450 VIP tickets get you the soundcheck but at our soundcheck in Vegas we didn’t “meet” or “greet” anyone.
I met the Bulldozer guys totally by chance, staying in the hotel they were in, and the M&G we won thru Team Jonas, and probably only because I have 4 memberships and entered 3x for Las Vegas.
If I could buy one, I would. I really want to meet them again (who wouldn’t?).
Aww I’m so happy for her! The Boys are definitely going to remember her… So cool!
The picture is super adorable! Kevin looks SO happy (and I love that Corinne’s so close to him). And I think it’s a lovely pic of Nick…
Love M&G pics & stories… Thank you for sharing!
Also wanted to add that I am so happy for her, too!! I love the pic. I was smiling at how close she is to Kevin and the gap between her and Nick. Yeah for her and the buttons!!
LOL, I know! I teased her about the giant gap between her and Nick as well!
I LOVE THE PHOTO!! And the story – AUGH!!! So good.
Go, Corinne!!
wow! that is an incredible experience! amazing gift and great conversation! yay!!! such a complete win.
oh my goodness ha ha! We could just crop her and Kevin right out and you wouldn’t know Nick and Joe were there.
Great photo!
So…what the heck is on Joe’s tee shirt? And I love Nick’s shirt.
(Is it bad if I’m imagining myself right in that space there next to Nick and your DD?)
Part 3: The Concert
By the time we got through at the M&G it was 6:45. We were hungry, thirsty, tired, and needed to go to the bathroom. Once we got into the venue and took care of business, HS was already on. They were starting on their second song as we found our seats and were overwhelmed by how close we were – literally right up against the catwalk, 15th row. We sat down for the first time in hours, breathed, and ate the overpriced crappy venue food I swore I wouldn’t buy.
The stage was HUGE. I can see now that pretty much any seat is a good seat for this tour. But let me tell you, we are S-P-O-I-L-E-D by catwalk seats. I would gladly pay a pretty penny in the future to ensure catwalk seats again!!
I am still so overwhelmed by the actual concert, I’m not sure if I have anything intelligent or coherent to say. I do know that I am so glad we will be going to 2 more because there is too much to see, too much to take in.
They sounded AMAZING. Really, really great! They were all so ON! Everybody! And The Horns! LOVE THEM! They are so fun to watch! A little girl behind us (maybe 10?) was screaming her head off for Randy, LOL!!
I just don’t even know where to begin, so I guess I’ll just bullet point my personal highlights…
- Kevin’s backflip with his guitar
- Nick & Joe’s tricks during Much Better
- Kevin in the raincoat (OMG….can he get any more adorable?!?!)
- The rain
- The foam (even though we weren’t foam side)
- The Catwalk! They were out there more than I thought they would be!
- Nick’s speech (we bawled our heads off!)
- Kevin on piano
- Nick bending down on the catwalk and Corinne getting to touch his guitar!!
- Corinne getting to touch Joe’s shoe!
- JB singing a little of the Black Eyed Peas “Tonight’s Gonna Be a Good Night”
I know I am forgetting a TON. The whole show was beyond amazing, simply mind blowing.
The only ‘lowlights’ were that JT did not come onto our catwalk, in fact we barely saw him. Also, we could not really see Jack at all. And personally I would have opted to leave out “Gotta Find You” and “Play My Music”. Not that I don’t love the songs, it’s just there are so many others they could have chosen instead.
My pictures are pretty crappy. I took 249 and got about 60 decent ones.

And the best part?! We get to do it again on Saturday in Atlanta! WooHoo!
Trish! I’m so excited for the both of you! Love the M&G picture- how tightly she is holding onto Kev
SO sweet! I’m glad they loved the buttons! I’ll be keeping my eyes open to see if I can spot them in pictures of the team from now on!
LOL, thanks Molly! We cracked up when we saw her little black nails clutching Kevin to her! No mistaking her love for him, huh?
We’ll flip out if we ever see them wearing the buttons!
oh it just sounds awesome..
are you happy you waited and didn’t watch any spoilers??
I bet you are.
So lucky you have 2 more concerts.
My M and G comments are above…hearts to Corinne for making our boys so happy
I saw a few things and read y’all’s experiences so I knew more than Corinne. She was glad to be surprised though! She got teary eyed when they played TJTWWR (her all time favorite) because she was afraid they wouldn’t play much from that album.
Wow, I LOVE your pictures! They’re amazing… So glad you had such a great time and that you’ll get to do it again so soon!!
Thank you for making me smile from ear to ear! I am so happy for you and Corinne! I love the meet and greet pic. Kevin looks quite content to be snuggled by her side.
Corinne’s pins are wonderful. I am glad she got to give her gift to the boys.
Keivn did his backflip again?!? Yayayay!
Thanks!
She keeps replaying it all…she’ll never forget it, that’s for sure!
Kevin’s flip = AWESOME!
Hopefully you will see it on Friday!!!!
Wow, Trish, how very, very cool! Yay for Corrine’s M&G! Love that it was so exceptionally memorable. I totally know what you mean by being overwhelmed at the whole experience. All 3 concerts I went to this summer were like a huge blur. I recall some highlights, but it’s like I went into euphoric Jonas fog, dancing & singing (just not my usual public persona!) and having a such a fantastic time that I can’t even tell you if the playlist was the same from concert to concert. They are amazing to see, though! I’m so glad the catwalk was such a great experience for you & Corrine (listening to Hannah H gripe about it makes one wonder…)! You are so lucky to be going to see more concerts! Thanks for sharing!
wow again Trish..your pictures are INCREDIBLE! I especially love the ones with Garbo..so intense.
Thanks for sharing!
Aww, thanks, guys! I was actually disappointed in the pics because I felt like a lot of them were ‘grainy’. I’m a really bad photographer so I envy those who seem to get really good concert pics without even trying.
Garbo came onto the catwalk several times and made us very, very happy!
I know what you mean about pictures (mine are never as goos as I think they are going to be) but I thought yours were great. You were so,so close!!
So have you all heard? Joe’s going to be a judge on American Idol? Not sure how I feel about this. I am not an AI fan….
I’m not an AI fan either. I think Joe will be as kind, if not kinder, to the fans as Paula Abdul and not nearly as wacky. I would have liked to have seen Nick be the judge, though, because I think he has studied singing and music the most of the brothers.
I don’t watch AI – I don’t hate it, just ambivalent about it – but from everything I’ve heard Paula is the “moral support” – always telling the singers how they worked hard and encouraging them. She’s not there to be the music critic. They leave that to Simon and somewhat to Randy. So all of these guest judges are there for the fun/celebrity aspect… not to be the music critics. Like on Dancing with the Stars, they had to replace the head judge one week (had a prior commitment I guess). The head judge was the “strictest” judger, and they replaced him with someone who was really lenient. Quite a difference. But can you imagine being the guest judge and being strict? You’d never be invited back! So I think AI is picking these celebrity judges for the “fun” aspect of it.
I think it’s really cool!
Of course Joe’s my favorite…so I think it’s a great choice. I think his charisma and very au courant POV on the music scene (as I see it, anyway) are just right and he’s so at ease with other celebs – all which will make him an interesting guest judge; I personally really value Joe’s opinion and outlook the most, despite him not being generally viewed as one of the more serious Jonases.
I have never watched American Idol though. I am aware of it, and figuring there will be nothing too tacky required of him…we’ll see.
I just think it’s so cool when each boy gets to do things on his own. Nick’s had a great run recently, Joe’s been having so much news even more recently. Can’t wait to see what’s to come from Kev.
And he’s also supergreat at being kind, if they’re just looking for him to fill that role, ha.
American Idol is the one thing we still watch as a family even though no one is really interested any more. The first few seasons were fun but as the success of the winners is somewhat dubious it gets harder and harder each year to invest the time. But I still cling to the days when my kids were younger and they really cared..so we watch. And I love how it starts in the frigid winter and when it ends it means spring and baseball season..
I think it’s actually great that Joe’s involved. They have had some odd guest judges (Quentin Tarintino? also Victoria Beckham in Boston?) and he certainly knows his music and has really worked hard on his vocals.
He won’t have that much screen time but it will be fascinating I’m sure.
I see on People that this will be on Monday and taking place in Dallas. Nick will be speaking at the National Press Club luncheon in Washington DC that day. Can we assume that Kevin will be with Danielle?
I wouldn’t be surprised, Jan.
After all they have a wedding to plan!
oh yeah. I’m sure!
Joe won’t be able to criticize anyone harshly. I am looking forward to seeing how he handles the “joke” contestants.
I am a Simon fan; he’s my favorite judge.
