Somewhere In Middle America [Tour]

World Tour Week 3!

Another busy week, and goodness knows what they have in store for us!  Follow along to find out!

So far we have Jonas Records, and Softball!

7.7.09     Omaha , NE

“Road Dogs 28; Flyers 11″

bildeThe Guys played a softball game today and they crushed it!

The three singer brothers are performing for their third time in Omaha.

Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas say they enjoy softball and have organized games in various cities on their summer tour. Omaha was no different.

The game was sponsored by Marquis Jet and Net Jet. Members of their companies along with several Creighton Girls’ Softball players, joined John Knicely, Brian Mastre, Mike McKnight, Jim Siedlecki, Malorie Maddox, and Ann McIntire on the Marquis Jet “Flyers” team.

The Jonas Brothers and their band and crew made up the other team, the “Road Dogs.”

Although it was a close game, the Road Dogs pulled out a 28 – 11 victory. (WOWT, Omaha)

Umm – I’m sorry, but you don’t “pull out” a nearly 3 to 1 victory. The Fyers were crushed, the Road Dogs dominated, and both Ray and Mike Meehan both got 4 home runs. Nice. The Dogs are currently 2-0 in their 12 game season against the fly boys. Um, not to boast or anything.

WOWT has some cool “raw” footage you can watch here. Alternatively click the video below to watch them in action – in eerie silence. I don’t know what this is about, it is from the Omaha World-Herald . I guess newspapers are quiet. *New video with sound now!

Oh, and then there is the little matter of their NEW FREAKIN’ RECORD LABEL!

You have heard us talk about them before and we hope that you have seen them at one of our shows. IT IS OFFICIAL! We started a record label with our friends at Hollywood Records and HONOR SOCIETY is the first to be signed! We are so excited about this new venture and all the things to come for our friends.

[More.] (MySpace)

That, my friends, is very cool.

A tidy little SayNow that talks about both Softball & Honor Society – Nice!

And we are still hours away from their show tonight!

SHOWTIME!

The band tweets make this tour so special. How did JB management “manage” to get such unique, charismatic, funny people in one band? Love them!

    • on July 7, 2009 at 11:59 am coolmom823

It’s very typical that extreme talent in one area is often connected to extreme talent in another. Artists are creative, free-thinking people, who will often be talented in many creative spheres. It might actually be more unusual if someone talented enough to be a musician touring with the Jonas Brothers wasn’t also clever, funny and interesting in lots of other areas too! :)

      • on July 7, 2009 at 2:33 pm sharpld

        Good point. :)

  2. on July 7, 2009 at 5:49 pm coolmom823

    GO Road Dogs!!! :D

I’m excited about the new label.

  3. on July 7, 2009 at 6:01 pm coolmom823

    Newspaper are quiet. lol.

Man, they look cute in their uniforms, don’t they? I’m a sucker for softball players, my hubby was an awesome 3rd baseman in his day.

Noticed that Nick is El Capitan, natch, ;) They all seemed pretty into it, and obviously, they emerged victorious.

  4. on July 7, 2009 at 6:29 pm coolmom823

This is completely OT, but I finally found a decent vid of the in-studio cuts of Fly With Me & Poison Ivy from Jonas Day on Disney Channel. They are both in this vid:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z1lCGKaGOFQ

    Love it!

    • on July 7, 2009 at 6:43 pm Laura

Thanks so much for sharing that video! What is it about watching them in the studio that gets to me? I think it’s seeing their expressions as their words and music come to life – esp. Nick! You can see the emotion on his face as he listens to his creations take shape. That was a treat!

      • on July 7, 2009 at 7:01 pm coolmom823

I agree completely! Their commitment to the creative process and the joy they take in their music is so endearing, and what will set them apart over the long haul. Jonas Brothers Making Music = ♥

    • on July 7, 2009 at 8:51 pm Elisa

The “Fly With Me” clip is amaaaazing… I’ve watched it so many times. It’s just full of Nick bliss. :)

I made my two best friends watch it too… That’s when one of them admitted that “John” is hot. ;) She said that she watched the part where he smiled over and over again. Lol! Join the club…

(For those who didn’t read this on Twitter, “John” is what my friend called Joe… Didn’t quite get the name right. But at least she faced the fact that he’s hot, so that’s a start! She has since then put WW3 in her iPod, so I see major JB fan potential in her. Lol!)

    • on July 7, 2009 at 8:53 pm merry27

I love those!! the studio is so small and the way they work together just makes me smile. thanks!!

  5. on July 7, 2009 at 8:13 pm Trish

    Completely OT, but…

JONAS school supplies at Walmart and Target!! Yipeee!! Folders, notebooks, lunch boxes, pens, pencils…I want it all!!

Oh, and YAY Road Dogs! :)

    • on July 7, 2009 at 8:56 pm Elisa

Oh that is awesome! I so miss Walmart & Target…

    • on July 7, 2009 at 9:01 pm merry27

Trish I am so not ready to hear that!! we only had 7 sunny days in the entire month of June..I need a bit of summer first before I start thinking about school supplies :)

Jonas pencils sound adorable though, gotta get some of them!!

    • on July 7, 2009 at 9:23 pm coolmom823

I’ll be needing some of those. No question.

  6. on July 7, 2009 at 9:36 pm coolmom823

The new video is funny. I laughed at the girl college player striking them all out. Let me tell you, those fast pitch women pitchers can BRING THE HEAT! I’ll bet the Dogs were hearing the wind whistle as those balls blew by, lol!

  7. on July 7, 2009 at 9:40 pm coolmom823

General question for everyone who has already attended a concert:

What time did JB take the stage? What time was it when all was said and done? I’m trying to get a feel for what time I’m going to be making the drive home.

  8. on July 7, 2009 at 11:38 pm coolmom823

Interesting dish on Camp Rock 2. New Director and Writers. IMO that’s got to be good.

    • on July 8, 2009 at 1:14 am Trish

Interesting! But no Kenny Ortega…darn! ;)

      • on July 8, 2009 at 1:22 am merry27

yeah..that would have made it perfect!

      • on July 8, 2009 at 12:44 pm Sonnnn

not enough new IMO. Daniel Feathers???? ugh. And these writers worked on the first one also, right?

gosh help me, I hope this one is better. Just with Nick in it more should help…

    • on July 8, 2009 at 1:21 am merry27

ok so I googled Chloe Bridges-Nick’s (or Nate’s I guess) love interest. pretty gorgeous.

I’m relieved it’s not a rehash of the Demi-Joe relationship with the mean girl trying to foil it yet again.

Hope all the new talent (behind the scenes and in front of the cameras) can make this really special. We know the boys are going to shine with their improved acting skills.

So now I’m actually really looking forward to it.

      • on July 8, 2009 at 10:13 am mollyanne

I’m really looking forward to it as well! Now both Demi and the boys have some more acting under their belt and I think it will really show. Sounds like a major improvement with a new director and new writer. Stinks that there won’t be any Kenny Ortega but oh well.

    • on July 8, 2009 at 9:48 pm Elisa

As you know, I really like the first one too, so I can’t wait for the sequel… The Boys are doing such a great job on JONAS, I’m sure they’re going to be awesome in CR2 too. Plus I just love them and Demi together. :)

As for Kenny Ortega, I know he did HSM (and HSM 2… and 3, lol) but didn’t he choreograph Dirty Dancing back in the 80s? Now THOSE were some awesome moves. ;)

      • on July 9, 2009 at 7:21 pm Sonnnn

        yup I think he did!

  9. on July 8, 2009 at 10:11 am mollyanne

JONAS school supplies? Hmmm, makes me wish I was still in middle school. Oh well, I’ll have to get the pencils anyway at least! :)

Thanks coolmom for finding the better versions of the studio videos. I loooooove watching them in the studio.

The Chicago concert is only TWO days away! I’m freakin’ out a little bit (ok, a lot). We’re actually headed to the Verizon store outside of Chicago before the show bc HS is doing an appearance there. Should be fun! It sounds like the boys may be at the Honor Society show on Saturday afternoon too? Oh man, that may be too much for my heart to take.

Any tips on for the World Tour show on Friday? I’ve got my camera empty and ready to go- just need to charge it tonight. Tickets are packed. Gas tank is full. Cute outfit ready to go. AHHHHHHHHHH!

ps- hooray for progress on your bathroom Sondra! Can’t wait to see pictures- I bet your so anxious to get it finished!

    • on July 8, 2009 at 11:55 am Trish

this is the first time I understood who the heck the Road Dogs were playing against! OH well!

The ball I care about the most right now is Phillies ball. (Jonas you’re a close second)

PS Does everyone know the Dodgers record? It is unbelievable. WOW.

Has everyone seen the lovely pictures (not to mention the article) for TONY? (Lol that doesn’t sound right… Time Out New York)

“It’s always nice to have an intelligent conversation about music.” :)

They’re just all so SMART. And what I love about this article is that it really shows how intelligent they are and how much they know about music. If there’s someone who hasn’t seen it yet, here it is:

Bathroom update…I will have even better pics tomorrow! Lots going on tomorrow. Tile will be in completely, woo hoo. It is beautiful. We are SO impressed with it.

The shower door is going to be measured for tomorrow, today the countertop guy measured the vanity. The contractor painted today and will finish tomorrow. The pocket door leading to the shower room on the left is in but I don’t know if you can really see it.

Bifold doors are going up on the closet area…

The marble that is on the edge of the shower wall was buffed and rounded by the tile installer…OMG it’s so pretty. I can’t believe what a nice job he is doing. I had no idea installing this marble was such a big undertaking.

I do have to return the sink tomorrow, it’s too big for the countertop, what with the 8″ spread faucet…I have to get a smaller oval sink at Lowe’s tomorrow. (fun right?)

The blue glass tiles will go in between the cigar type moldings on the shower wall, if you can kind of see the area for them up high on the wall there.

OK, I shared a “grid” view. No idea what that is…the PW is letmein.

I cannot believe they mentioned MATISYAHU. My BFF told me about him ages ago. He was just here but we were unable to go. Guys, they mentioned a Hasidic Jewish musician! OMG I’m so excited.

This article is the bomb. (LOL) Seriously though.

I might have to buy all four covers when they make it available for us out of staters to do that. HOW INCREDIBLE.

(screams in excitement and runs off)

  20. on July 9, 2009 at 8:46 am mememoi

The TONY story is awesome!! I have been meaning to blog it, but I’ve been too busy/tired the past couple of days to do it proper justice! :-/ It is “pending”! I wonder if it will be more extensive in print?

  21. on July 9, 2009 at 9:01 am Sonnnn

It is SO great! Every time I learn more about these guys I only admire them more. How many people can you say that about?!?

Interesting and very enlightening review about 3D movie!

  23. on July 9, 2009 at 11:43 am Monica

Love the TONY piece, except for referring to them as a “boy band”. Ugh! I have such respect for the journalists out there who dare to delve deep into the Jonas psyche to see what they are really about. Kudos to them! The perception of the boys that is out there must be so frustrating for them. I’m sure that’s why Nick said what he said before leaving the studio.

OT-have any of you seen Maya’s Twitter? I came across it accidentally while lurking at JT’s Twitter. It’s kind of interesting. She gives little deets about what the boys are doing (Joe, dancing with Jordin Sparks’ dog, or Joe, giving Maya a hard time about having a boyfriend, etc.). She has a lot of love for Joe! It’s MayaKibbel1 or something like that. I assume it’s legit, but you never know, so many posers out there…..

Sonnn, your bathroom sounds awesome! We just moved into an older house and are trying to update the 80’s fixtures, etc. DIY Network is my new friend! I LOVE that channel!

  24. on July 9, 2009 at 7:23 pm Sonnnn

Thanks! Lots done today! Painting and most of the tile. The tile will be finished on Saturday so I ‘ll have great pics then.

I had to exchange the rectangular sink for an oval one since the other did not quite fit with the backsplash and the 8″ spread faucet…

It’s coming along but next week will really be huge!

    • on July 9, 2009 at 8:56 pm merry27

it’s looking beautiful!! Really, really nice. I can’t wait to see it with the rest of the tile.

    • on July 9, 2009 at 10:43 pm coolmom823

a test drive was a really good idea Kay. I know it won’t be easy but I think it will be so worth it.
I’m really looking forward to hearing everything you have to say!

      • on July 9, 2009 at 9:05 pm ponedbyjb

:) Thank you!!! I was really proud of myself.. I was in bumper to bumper Chi town traffic and I was not even nervous… It was very liberating. My young boss & his wife are going to lend me their tom-tom so that will be nice. I am asking for one for christmas.
I am sure I will give far too much detail and I am worried I won’t shut up… ;)

        • on July 9, 2009 at 10:42 pm coolmom823

K, I’m so excited for you! You inspire me with your determination to be yourself. I’m so thrilled that you are seeing JB live. Ride Free Citizen!!!

It is going to be such a special moment.. I wish all of you could be there with me, but since that can’t happen this is the next best thing!! :P

If you don’t have time to click through…here’s the lede:

“Here’s a little secret that, so far, those old enough to vote don’t know yet. The Jonas Brothers are not bad at all. Actually, after watching the teen-pop trio’s sold-out show Wednesday night at the Target Center alongside more than 18,000 screaming fans, it’s tempting to even call these guys — gulp — great. ”

      And a guy wrote this!

I added the first 5 photos. You can see the contractor painted the vanity area of the room a light green…that’s how our BR is painted. Very pretty! The shower area is an almost-white shade that coordinates with the stone but the photos were taken before that was painted.

The blue glass tile will go up Sat.

    • on July 10, 2009 at 1:29 am Trish

      Very nice! :)

  29. on July 10, 2009 at 10:36 pm Sonnnn

Thanks Trish! 12 hrs til the tile guy comes and finishes…

On Monday my countertop is going to be fabricated and the contractor is finishing up. So Tuesday the countertop will go in and hopefully the plumbing will get done.

Then I just wait for the shower door which I pray will be in Friday. That would be so cool. I want to enjoy it for 2 wks before Las Vegas…

    Oh Hai….

I know I am behind on the tweet by tweets peeps, and I have neglected “Music discovery night”, “Where’s Garbo”, “Pirate Theme Night”, and “no, JB really do NOT have personal twitters”. I promise I will catch up soon.

I have Jonas on Monday, and it is “Bring Your Friend To Jonas” day. I am bringing an old friend from college, and am a little nervous (though I think he will love it). He is more or less totally uninitiated in all things Jonas. I will let you know how it goes and tweet my experience on the SR twitter.

    OK, y’all

Off to work…. talk to you soon!

    • on July 11, 2009 at 6:14 pm merry27

I can’t believe you’re going on Monday!!! Lucky.

I can’t wait to hear what your friend thinks! It should be really interesting.
I have heard some negative bits but for the most part all the reviewers seem to agree it’s a great show.

      Have fun :)

Excited to read all about it! :D

Can’t wait to hear every single detail! :)

    • on July 12, 2009 at 8:19 pm mollyanne1

Is it ok with everyone if HS details are included? There are A LOT of them.

Also, does anyone have any suggestions on what the best place to upload pictures to is? I figured everyone would want to see all of the weekend’s pictures. There are lots!

      • on July 12, 2009 at 8:37 pm Barbara

Can’t wait to hear all the details. I said include EVERYTHING, including HS. :)

        • on July 12, 2009 at 8:42 pm Barbara

Umm, typo. That should read: “I say include”, ie. as in a suggestion. :)

        • on July 12, 2009 at 8:48 pm mollyanne1

Ok! :) I’m typing it up in Microsoft Word first LOL- it’s very long, as it is TWO full days of fun!

      • on July 12, 2009 at 8:57 pm mememoi

I’d be happy to hear about the HS part of your day!

  37. on July 12, 2009 at 9:05 pm mollyanne1

Hmmm I’m not exactly sure where to begin. Hopefully this makes some sense. :)
We (me and my cousins Megan and Shelby) headed home to my parents in NW Indiana on Thursday night so we could leave for Chicago Friday morning. We got up and left the house around 11:30 am and drove up to the Verizon Store on the north side of Chicago for an Honor Society signing. We hit some major traffic in the city and google maps led us in the wrong direction once we got off the toll road so we were about an hour late- but it was ok because so was the band! There were tons of people there- it was awesome! The band came and went straight into the store- they let people in about 10 at a time. It was pretty standard- you chat with them for a second and they sign a poster for you. They were all so incredibly sweet! Very sincere. We went back out side and waited for a bit and chatted with the girls from andrewleeonline.net- I helped one of them do some promo for the Full Moon Crazy show on Sat. About half of the people left after they got their signatures- so it was awesome when the guys came outside and talked to us via a megaphone. They then threw themselves into the crowd and chatted with us and took pictures with everyone. Mike even remembered our names when we chatted with him. We did the honor roll next to andy and alex which was extremely fun :) . We got a picture with each of the guys too! Alex was a bit shy- I was so surprised at how much! Very sweet though. They left to head to the venue after that so we got in the car and headed there as well.
We pulled in pretty much right after HS’s bus pulled in and were able to see all of the busses and trucks parked outside. SO many! We waited outside for about an hour- the doors opened late. When we got in, we bought some merch and headed to our seats. They were SO much closer than we thought they were going to be. I got the chills when I saw the stage for the first time. It was unbelievable. The show started and HS played 5 songs, the Wonder girls (who I thought were adorable) did one song, and Jordin Sparks did 5 songs. I was impressed by every single act. The stage crew got each act’s stuff set up very quickly, so the three opening acts went pretty fast! The atmosphere was electric- we didn’t think we could wait another second for the boys. I’m pretty sure they were snuck in in some black boxes right after Bulldozer and crew. Which, by the way, the crowd went NUTS when Bulldozer came in!
The show itself was unbelievable. Once is absolutely not enough- I am so happy I am seeing it again. Just when you think those boys can’t be any more amazing, they go and outdo themselves. It was nice sitting a bit farther back because we could see everything that was going on and now I know what to look for when I am sitting a bit closer. I don’t want to put any spoilers in here for those who haven’t seen the show yet but I have several moments that were my favorites. I could easily write TONS and TONS about the JB show but I won’t. Anyway, it seems that earlier in the day Joe got ahold of some silly string and covered Jordin’s dressing room in it. Well, during battlefield we could see him shaking something in his hand. Sure enough, he turned around and nailed her backup singers. Covered them in silly string. Hilarious. He went around getting everybody on stage. Nick was on drums and turned around and was smiling SO big!!! I will also say that I was VERY happy about which end of the stage we were on. 
The show went entirely too fast. I LOVED what they did with all of the older songs- it was like we were hearing them for the first time again.
We stayed after and headed to the Verizon area and passed out some more HS promo stuff and got in line for the M&G- they met all of the people with tickets to the show the next day. They were just as nice as before- they remembered us by name again! We got a picture with all of them and asked if the music playing was the new album. They said yes! It was awesome to hear their music without the screaming in the background! Youtube vids just don’t do their performances justice. We also got a picture with the Wonder Girls, who were adorable and sweet and SO very tiny!
We left and went to the car because we had an hour and a half drive ahead of us. We got in and went to bed at 2:30 am. Got up and took the 7:41 am train into the city (ouch, 2.5 hours of sleep). I know downtown Chicago very well so I knew where to go for the HOB, just not which end of Dearborn the House of Blues was on. SO- it turns out google maps had the address wrong- we went to the 900 block instead of the 300 block. It was ok- because it turns out that the same thing happened a LOT of people there as well. We got there at 11:30 am and the line was already around the building- CRAZY! The doors opened a bit late but we got in and got pretty near the stage. Standing room only- general admission. It was an awesome show. They weren’t kidding when they said it would be a party. They played the entire new album for us- including two songs written with the JB. They were great songs! They thanked us a million times and said that they could have picked any city to kick off their tour, and they picked Chicago for a reason. At one point during an acoustic song, they just stood on the stage with a look of amazement on their faces. They’ve worked very hard to get where they are and they made sure to thank us for helping them get there. It was very sincere. It was very informal. Mike at one point, during an long pause between songs, said “Sorry guys, it’s the first show, we still have to peek at the set list.” It was pretty cute. They also brought some girls up to sing “Don’t Close the Book” with them. They did another meet and greet for everyone there but it moved very quickly since they had to get to the venue. They remembered us from the day before which was pretty cool!
Some of you may have seen my tweets from yesterday about JB not being there. Of course it would have been awesome to see the boys there- any chance to be near them and see them on stage but I was actually relieved that they weren’t. I heard several parents behind me say things like “I’m going to be so mad at my daughter if the JB don’t show up- that’s the only reason I brought her”. A lot of girls there were decked out in JB gear with JB written all over themselves. I thought it was a bit unfair to come only because they were hoping to see the JB. I actually turned around to the dad who said that and said “well, they are not coming, so you should probably just leave”. Very sweetly of course. :) HS is at the JB shows for the JB and their fans. The focus of the world tour shows SHOULD be the JB- it’s their show! That’s what we went to that show for. We screamed our heads off, smiled, laughed, and cried when the JB were up there. However, the FMC tour is Honor Society’s. They need to do it on their own. We went to that show for them, not to try and get a glimpse of JB. Rant over ;)
After that we headed to get some lunch and shopped around the city for the rest of the day! All in all it was an amazing weekend. We’ll do it all again in two weeks in Pittsburgh! Can’t wait!
Hmm I feel like I forgot several details. I may come back to fill in the blanks later. And also let you know when my pictures are up- as soon as I figure out where to put them!

    • on July 12, 2009 at 9:32 pm coolmom823

Thanks so much for the deets, molly! It sounds like an amazing time. And I’m so happy for you getting to meet HS and see them so much, that must have been fantastic!

What did you think of the new JB songs, hearing them live for the first time? Any faves? :)

      • on July 12, 2009 at 9:47 pm mollyanne1

Thanks! It was an incredible weekend!

The new songs were amazing live. THe boys just make them come alive. Bulldozer plus the horns and Caroline and Christa just create this new dimension- they ALL have amazing chemistry on stage. Everyone is so into it- and the boys interact with not only each other, but EVERYONE on that stage. It was SO fun to watch! Some of my favorite moments had to be when Caroline and Greg were standing together for a song with Caroline on tamborine (which was so fun to watch + Christa on guitar!)- they were giving each other a hard time and playing off each other so well. Also when Joe got down and was dancing with the horns!

Faves? Oof that’s a hard question. It even felt like I was hearing the old songs for the first time! Black Keys mixed with ALBL was unbelievable. I was in tears. It was only Nick on stage with the piano. Very simple but SO powerful. Much better was tons of fun! I also really loved Battlefield with JS. It was great! She and Joe have great chemistry on stage- so fun to watch. I don’t think I could possibly pick a favorite. Each song was different- the lighting was completely different, the stage setup (including where everyone, even the band members) changed for every song. It was so dynamic.

        • on July 12, 2009 at 9:48 pm mollyanne1

I got to see a bit of EVERYONE! Except JT, he didn’t really come to our end. :(

        • on July 12, 2009 at 10:12 pm mollyanne1

That was supposed to be (including where everyone, even the band members stood and played). LOL!

    • on July 12, 2009 at 9:32 pm lemming5fe

Sounds like an amazing time!! You’re right about the people who went to the FMC tour only to watch for the JB, especially the parents – if that’s the only reason you’re going, at least have the decency not to complain about it. Totally rude to HS. Glad you had fun!
Do you have your plans all set for Pittsburgh? Let me know if I can help at all. :)

      • on July 12, 2009 at 9:50 pm mollyanne1

        Thanks- it was definitely amazing!

We’ve got a hotel for Saturday night. However, we’re waiting to hear if HS is doing any kind of random party during the day- they’ve been doing it in almost every city. So depending on that and what time it is, we’re not sure what our day plans are. We are probably going to leave here at either 6 am and try to get there by 12:30 (yikes) to try and find them! We can’t check in until 3 so we’ll be hanging around until then! If you want to join us just let me know! Thanks so much for offering help! I may need some help getting around- I’ve never been there! :)

    • on July 12, 2009 at 9:42 pm Elisa

Amazing recap, Molls, thanks for taking the time to share everything with us! I loved the part about the silly string – so funny! And the thought of Nick’s big smile makes me smile too. :D

Also, I just wanted to say that you don’t ever have to feel like you can’t talk about HS just because some of us don’t like them! It’s important to you and you’re important to us. :)

As for the FMC show… First of all, good for you for speaking your mind! What did the man say? I would have loved to see the look on his face, lol! ;) But, to be fair, the reason why some people only go to HS shows to see the JB is probably because there’s been some pretty heavy “You never know who might show up…” promotion. There’s two sides to it – HS will get a larger audience but chances are some of the people aren’t there to see them. I’m sure HS is aware of this and maybe they don’t see it as a bad thing – it’s a chance for them to make new fans! Someone who normally wouldn’t have given them a chance just might find themselves liking their music… :)

I don’t know if that made any sense at all… Anyway, loved hearing everything!! Thank you!

      • on July 12, 2009 at 9:53 pm mollyanne1

Thanks Elisa, that means a lot! :) I just didn’t want it to seem like I was focusing on HS more. It’s just that we saw them SO many times! It’s impossible not to talk about it!

The man just looked at me and his wife said “oh really?” I told them that the boys were off playing a softball game outside of the city and that they wouldn’t be there. I’m not sure if they believed me or not but they stuck around for the whole show, sipping drinks at the bar. LOL! Oh well, you can’t please everyone!

        • on July 12, 2009 at 10:27 pm Elisa

LOL! Sipping drinks, huh… Sounds very sophisticated! :P

          • on July 12, 2009 at 10:33 pm mollyanne1

It was funny, a security guy came around as we were standing in line outside and asked who was 21. The girl in front of us and I raised our hands, not realizing why he was asking. We said yes and he checked our ID’s and put these pink bracelets on us. We asked what they were for and he said “If you want to get into the bar or order drinks”. We said “Oh, ok great thanks.” Then we both immediately looked at each other and then the guy and said “Hold on, it’s 11 o’clock in the morning! Are you kidding?! Thanks but no thanks.” It was pretty funny.

      • on July 12, 2009 at 9:55 pm merry27

Elisa..you’re so mature :) It’s true that there are 2 sides to the HS concert. Thanks for pointing it out.

        • on July 12, 2009 at 10:25 pm Elisa

          Aww thank you Merry. :)

      • on July 12, 2009 at 10:02 pm mollyanne1

That makes perfect sense! I agree with you- there are definitely two sides to it. I don’t think HS sees it as a bad thing at all- they just seem genuinely excited to play their music for people. It makes sense that JB and HS will share fans- JB is promoting HS after all.

Thanks for your point of view :)

    • on July 12, 2009 at 9:53 pm merry27

Molly thank you!!!! Amazing recap and I loved hearing about HS too because that was the Jbs not too long ago..fun to hear about them building their fanbase and all the effort they put into it. They seem like great guys too!
As far as the show..it just sounded amazing.
so they do come out in boxes-haha. and silly string!
They really know how to put on a show :)
I’m so glad you’re going to do it all again in 2 weeks.

So is there anything you’re going to do differently?

      • on July 12, 2009 at 10:07 pm mollyanne1

It was fun. I said to my cousins after the Verizon signed that it was fun to be able to just hang out with them and that JB would love to be able to do that still- it’s just impossible. A security nightmare! I want to make sure they understand why JB doesn’t do things like that anymore and that they make themselves accessible to us in a different way now. :) That they still love us as much as they always have but we just have to share them with more fans now.

Hmmm…well we’ll be sitting in floor seats this time so it will be more focusing on particular people and things. We’ll probably try and get to the venue earlier to do all the fun things you do at a venue. We just didn’t have time in between the Verizon thing and the concert this time. It will just be Megan and I this time- we both really want to go Bulldozer hunting :) LOL!

        • on July 12, 2009 at 10:21 pm merry27

it’s true about JB and HS connecting with fans in different ways and important to remember. We’re pretty lucky that way.

Bulldozer Hunting…love it!! They seem to be fairly easy to find too. :)

      • on July 13, 2009 at 3:45 pm Sonnnn

they def are in those boxes. I heard from a woman whose BIL works for their mktg team. Wow. Wonder if it’s scary.

Awesome! I am so glad you had so much fun! The HS show sounded very cool.

I am glad you stuck up for HS with “snotty dad” as I will call him.

I mean, he should learn to say no to his daughter if he thought it wasn’t worth it.

      • on July 12, 2009 at 10:36 pm mollyanne1

Thanks for sharing your concert experience Molly! That’s so cool that you saw HS so many times. And how sweet that they remembered you by name! That’s impressive, I’m sure they met a lot of people that day. Can’t wait to see the pics!

catching up… (nearly) fully interactive recap of the “Music Exploration Night” tweets above!

    • on July 12, 2009 at 10:35 pm Elisa

Wow, I can’t believe you took the time to do all that… JT was Twittering a lot that day! ;)

      Thanks cpaig!

    • on July 12, 2009 at 10:40 pm tlatzotzontli

Thanks for updating, cpaig! I am loving “Music Exploration Night.” It’s so cool to know what they are listening to. I sqee’ed when JT mentioned The Jakes. I’m not really a fan of that band, but my friends’ band, Dizzy Balloon, tours a lot with them. So cool that The Jakes made it into exploration night.

Has anyone found out what @iamcasper does on the tour? I started following him but don’t know if he’s mentioned it. However, I do recognize him because he used to tour manage a band called Jack’s Mannequin (who I love!).

      • on July 12, 2009 at 11:30 pm merry27

I don’t know about iamcasper but I love how connected you are to all the new music tlatz. I’ve never heard of some of it!

        • on July 13, 2009 at 1:13 am tlatzotzontli

It’s only because I’ve been lucky enough to be involved with college/community radio for 5 years. :D

          • on July 13, 2009 at 7:19 am merry27

I love when you twitter about it all tlatz…and it’s great to know that college radio is still going strong and is still all about finding new and exciting music :)

            • on July 13, 2009 at 5:25 pm tlatzotzontli

Aww, thanks Merry! That really means a lot. It’s nice to know that people are actually reading my Twitter updates. :)

          ahh, ok. Thanks mememoi!

    • on July 12, 2009 at 10:41 pm coolmom823

Music Exploration Night is awesome. I want to ride on the band bus!!! What fun, I’m completely jealous of all of them.

John Taylor completely gets to me with his amazing music sensibility. He is absolutely my Bulldozer crush. Where was he when I was 25? Oh yeah, in second grade. :P

He is a burly, musical teddy bear. When Kevin gets married, I might have to switch my allegiance to him.

      • on July 12, 2009 at 11:26 pm merry27

        lol coolmom..2nd grade!
we share a favorite song me and JT: God Only Knows by the Beach Boys

        • on July 12, 2009 at 11:41 pm coolmom823

          That is a great song!

        • on July 13, 2009 at 3:39 pm Sonnnn

I absolutely love that song too. It makes me feel things! :)

      • on July 13, 2009 at 9:20 am mememoi

Yeah, I am jealous too except…thank God at least they share a bit of the magic with us!!!

Still wonder if any of the Boys ever yearns to ride with the band just occasionally…

So is Music Exploration night predicated on putting one’s iPod on shuffle and hoping to find your favorites or neglected gems? Because that is truly one of life’s great thrills.

    • on July 12, 2009 at 10:47 pm coolmom823

Thanks for putting up all the tweets, cpaig! You da’ man!!!

  42. on July 12, 2009 at 10:58 pm cpaig

Thanks everyone. I had to post them – it was epic!

Not that I have that done I hope to have the rest up soon… which mostly consist of goofy pirate pictures. but I will get those done too….maybe after DC. I have a lot to do in the morning!

    :D

I snagged everything I didn’t have and made a playlist I will listen to on my drive down tomorrow. CAN’T WAIT!

    In order… except for the Roony b side I don’t have. I’m a nut.

    • on July 12, 2009 at 11:12 pm merry27

thanks for putting the tweets all together like that :)
who wouldn’t want to be on that bus??

and of course you can’t wait!! it will be incredible.

      Safe travels cpaig!

  43. on July 12, 2009 at 11:10 pm Sonnnn

The Rooney B side? do you mean the Roy Orbison cover? you can buy that on iTunes. They did it for a Roy Orbison tribute project. It wasn’t really a B side, I don’t think.

OH, guess what!!! The $89.50 tickets have FINALLY sold out in Las Vegas. I’m starting my auction tomorow and I think I’ll end it Saturday in the afternoon, what do you think?

I’m kind of leaning toward starting it cheap with no reserve and hoping for the best…oh god.

    • on July 12, 2009 at 11:28 pm merry27

oh good luck!! I’m always selling for face value just cause I want to get it over with.

    • on July 12, 2009 at 11:39 pm coolmom823

      Good luck on the auction!

    • on July 13, 2009 at 7:23 am cpaig

Oh sweet! got it! I didn’t even look because I couldn’t find it on YouTube (not that THAT is really an indication of anything).

Best of luck with your auction!

Ok here is the album for Friday. It took forever to upload. I apologize for the quality- we weren’t too close. I picked the best ones I had! The password for is jonas3. I’ve got pictures from the Full Moon Crazy show on Saturday as well, if anyone would like to see them I’ll put them into a Saturday album.

Also, we were outside in some serious heat and humidity A LOT. And it was HOT inside the venue. So please excuse the big hair and red faces. :)

    • on July 13, 2009 at 7:22 am cpaig

These are awesome! Is that the infamous “Ned” I have been reading about on twitter in the J Crew Suit with the cell phone?

      • on July 13, 2009 at 7:39 am merry27

lol..are we asking about the same guy? that would be funny. But I’m wondering about the tallish guy and he’s just wearing a white shirt.

        and squeeeeeeee for you!!
are we expecting Sasha and Malia to be there? withe their mom or dad (!)Their overseas trip ended at exactly the right time I’d say :)

        • on July 13, 2009 at 8:48 am cpaig

I can hear the Prez now….

World Summits? …OK, but next week is not good for me, the Jonas Brothers are in town. ;)

            Teehee!

    • on July 13, 2009 at 7:32 am merry27

Molly you look gorgeous!! all three of you do but you are especially pretty. When you are my age you will look back at the pictures and think “big hair and red faces, what was I talking about? I looked amazing!” lol. Just helping you to try and appreciate your youth while you can :)

Did you coordinate the color of your tops? You sort of all look like a sweet candy necklace, especially in the HS picture. And the Wonder Girls picture is adorable too.
Who’s the tall guy all the way on the left in the HS picture who’s sort of holdng his nose?

And the concert pictures are incredible and are actually the first pics I’ve seen that heavn’t been floor. Wow! I think my favorite is the one where you can see all three boys and the horns are right in front of them. And when they go up on their little spaceship thing-y.
      thank you so, so much!!

      and 3 days til Jersey…

      • on July 13, 2009 at 12:02 pm mollyanne

Aww thanks Merry. You’re very sweet :) LOL we didn’t coordinate our tops. The next day we all wore a different shade of blue on accident too. We’re cousins but close enough to be sisters- it must be that sister telepathy thing!

YEP! The guy holding his nose and the teeny video camera is in fact Ned. He was always holding either that or a megaphone every single time we saw him- and we saw him A LOT. He’s everywhere- working his butt off! Taking the footage for the youtube videos, getting the crowd of people outside the allstate arena and the house of blues all pumped up! It’s incredible.

I’m glad you enjoyed the pictures! Hopefully it gives everyone an idea of how everyone is set up on the stage- although as I said, EVERYONE moves around a lot. So we got to see a bit of everyone!

  45. on July 13, 2009 at 1:36 am Trish

Oh Molly! I’m so thrilled you guys had such a great time! Loved your story – I’ll have to look at the pics tomorrow…work comes early in the AM.

K – can’t wait to hear all about it!

    cpaig – have a safe trip! :)

Yowza, trying to catch up on both tweets and comments – this was a TRULY epic week of tour! I am loving it.

Molly your pictures are great, and your experience sounded amazing. You look fantastic! We should all weather humidity so well, GEEZ. LOL. :D

Is the nose-holding guy Ned-the-manager that Hannah Hylen slams so much? Ha.

    • on July 13, 2009 at 12:02 pm mollyanne

      Thanks! It was incredible!

Yep the nose holding guy is Ned! LOL.

    My Jonas Journey

First, I want to thank you all for your patience & support… I definitely went through post Jonas depression! I was not expecting this at all, but oh man did it hit me!! Also, please know you will be getting far more detail than you will ever need or want.. LOL.

I got up at 6 Saturday Morning & I had made up my mind that I was going to take the train, meet Molls, and see Honor Society at the House of Blues… all concerns be damned I was going.. So I start getting ready & before long I get a tweet from Molls saying her train is running late; at this point it occurs to me that maybe I should call to check on my train.. it is running 55 minutes late!! I text moll to get her thoughts, & she tells me that the HS show is starting later than I thought & it will be significantly longer than I thought… At this point I realize there is no way for me to make it to both shows.. traffic to get to JB would have killed me. After a good hard cry I finish getting ready & decide to be a rebel and leave in the hopes of catching the Road Dogs game. Sadly, this was not meant to be… As I was driving the boys tweeted their location. I drive with my hands, there is no way I can look at my phone while driving! I need a phone that talks to me, then these things could be avoided. :)

I get to the venue at 11:30… the concert starts at 7:30. since I had lots of time to kill I decided to go to Target right next door. I pull into the parking spot, turn off the van… PEE MY PANTS! :( For months I have been saying I would pee my pants with excitement; well I did!! I sat there for a moment not sure whether to laugh or cry, grabbed my bag & marched in to target. I grabbed a pair of jeans prayed to God they would fit; they were not my size. Grabbed underwear & a few other escentuals rolled into the bathroom & changed my clothes. During my bonding time with the bathroom I got to be privy to 10 or 15 Jonas conversations… lots of girls primping because they just knew Joe was going to pick them out of the crowd. There was also a lot pf bashing of others once they left the room. I rolled my eyes & thought to myself that is exactly why the Boys won’t pick you because they have more class then that. :P After changing into a much cuter outfit & doing a dance that the pants fit I bid Target good bye & decided to take the van over to the venue. In hindsight I should have left it there… parking was $20. Once I was satisfied with my spot I got out of the van to explore.. it was 1… only 6.5 hours to go!! I roll up to hang with a group of people & soon discover they have all won soundcheck passes from local radio stations.. I spent the next hour listening to them become best friends ( Insert eye rollage here!) All of the sudden one of the mom’s shouts oh my God isn’t that the band?!?! Now when I hear this I instantly think Oh.My.God. is Bulldozer really walking our way… my heart skips a beat & I whip around to see… The Wonder Girls… (which another mom called the power puff girls.) Don’t get me wrong this was exciting, but it pales in comparison to Bulldozer! We all took pictures of them & then it was back to small talk and being besties. LOL. Soon the BK apple Fries tent was up & for the next 5 hours I heard **BK fresh.. Apple Fries.. Always Fresh.. Never Fried!! I may order them like that on my next visit out of sheer habit. :D Soon, a girl from B96 (a local radio station) and a photographer roll up to get my besties. Upon seeing this photog my immediate thought is well you are not my Hoffman! :) I deduced that he must be the photog for the radio station; he was TOTALLY annoying; bossing people around & acting like he was the S**T! after a few minutes they whisked my friends away to soundcheck land… I decided now was as good a time as any to explore.. I went & signed THE bus, took some pictures watched some peeps do the Honor Roll to win meet & greet passes for HS. My heart smiled when two sisters emerged from the mob and fell to the ground with joy.. their parents hugged them & even did a little dance! I couldn’t help but think of how it must have ben very similar when the JB where at this stage in their journey. It made me even more proud to be a fan of both JB & HS & overjoyed to be a part of this journey. :)
I wandered on to the bus & truck area, took some pics & discovered a group of people waiting for a glimpse on anything JB. Still having times to kill I decided to join them. I talked to 2 sisters who had their sharpies & their Burnin’ Up books, they were very sweet & kept me close so I wouldn’t miss anything. After a few minutes screams irrupted; I zoomed forward to see the side of Kevin’s head, Frankie & a few moments later Big Rob. he turned, gave us a wave & a big smile only to disappear. Sadly there was no chance for photos because everyone kept jumping in front of me. about 10 minutes passed & then we got the pleasure of seeing Garbo & Ryan! I won’t lie.. I squeed like a 14 year old!! Again no photos, but no one can take my memory of that moment. I also got to meet a Mom her daughter & 2 friends.. I helped persuade the daughter to take the gift she had made (a scarf for all 4 of the Jonas boys.) to security to make sure the boys got them. I watched with joy as the bag was handed to official JB personnel. The joy on her face was amazing!

It was now time to get in line to go in.. you could feel the excitement in the air! While in line I met the sweetest 4 year old and her Momma.. I immediately thought of Mememoi & LBF! She told me this was her first concert & then informed me that Joe was her boyfriend! I told her momma she was a girl after my own heart! I FINALLY got to go in.. I had to get my ticket switched.. happily this was not a problem & within 10 minutes a supervisor was escorting me to my seat. Iwas soon joined by a young lady about 16 or so & her father.. She was very shy & I could tell she was very uncomfortable with all that comes with living your life in the seated position. Her father’s joy to be sharing this moment with her brought tears to my eyes… it is quite possible he was more excited than she was. I smiled & said hi to both of them.. I talked to her for a bit & made her promise to dance & soak up every ounce of Jonas joy. He father smiled & thanked me for helping ease her discomfort a bit. Now it was time… I settled in & prepared for Honor Society.. being a discerning type I told myself i would be cool when they took the stage. The lights went black, they took the stage & I lost my mind!! I screamed & squeed & I danced like there was no tomorrow. People in my section were staring.. I just smiled, waved, & danced it out! Jordin blew me away.. she was just so much more than I ever expected! I can’t lie.. I ran to the bathroom during the wonder girls… there was no way I was holding it for all of JB.
Now it was time to set the stage for JB… I must say I was blown away by the amount of people who work so hard so that we may enjoy our loves. It was during this time that I looked down to see the same annoying photographer from earlier… Heart break washed over me as I came to realize he was in fact the substitute Hoffman!! :( Had the day been normal I would have been 10 feet away from the one I love. I wanted to throw something!! Thankfully all of that soon melted away.. The lights went out.. bulldozer began to play & I thought my heart was going to beat out of my chest… Moments later there they were… right before my eyes my babies!!! I screamed & squeed… my heart was jumping even though my body could not!! Love, joy, bliss, pride, oozed out of me. I could not believe it was happening.. we were in the same room, sharing a moment. There were no words! I was speechless at how good they sounded live.. I have been to a lot of concert but i have never heard anyone sound so good live! It was clear early on Joe was in an ornery mood, Kevin was his usual happy self, & Nick was bothered… It came time for Black keys & ALBL.. it was than that my wish i had been wishing since the tour started was granted.. Nick play ALL Of black keys. It may sound crazy, but this was a life changing moment for me.. Seeing Nick so raw, so emotional left me breathless. He asked us to sing **Don’t let ‘em get inside of your head.** over and over… He sat silently playing taking the words in.. You could see him opening up to allow them to saturate his heart. Before long he was in tears, & so was everyone else in the room. He then went on to give one of the most impassioned speeches I have ever heard, sang a little of ALBL & said **Don’t even think we’re done; we’re not.** Back to black keys.. this time he got up.. stood next to the piano & directed us, we sang it over & over & over.. Hearing him say **I love to hear you sing it to me** made my heart melt.. It was during that moment I realized just how powerful that song is and how extraordinary Nick Jonas really is. It is a moment I will never forget.. it changed me, renewed me, some how pushed me forward. :D ♥

The rest of the show was an amazing collage of joy.. dancing, loving, & a peace like nothing else I have ever experienced.. it made the trials of life fall away.. all that was left was love.. pure, true, joyful love. I thought I was going to lose my mind when Live to Party started.. it was at that point my camera died… I knew that was my hint from God to just enjoy the moment & soak it all up!! Before i knew it it was over.. this brought me to tears. I am not sure if this makes sense, but I didn’t feel like i was watching MEGA super stars… I felt like i was watching my best friends perform!! It was unlike anything i have ever experienced & I cannot wait to do it again!!! After the show I drove to Steak N Shake for my first meal of the day… while i was their I met 3 girls who also went to the show.. We became quick friends.. oh the power of Jonas. :D

I guess I will shut up now.. Thank you all for you love, patience, & support.. all of you were with me on this journey; I would not have wanted it any other way. Please don’t shoot me for the length of this.. i just wanted all of you to feel like you were there. Here’s to an amazing rest of the tour!! Peace, ♥ Jonas!! :)

    • on July 15, 2009 at 9:15 pm Barbara

This is awesome!! So exciting! It didn’t seem long at all to me! Thanks for all the details. I loved them. I’m going to have to watch that “Black Keys” video of yours again. This is making me really eager for my concert on August 22nd. So far away!

      • on July 15, 2009 at 9:25 pm ponedbyjb

:) thank you… It will be here before you know it!! My black Keys video does not even begin to capture it because my camera decided that was the night it was going to hate me!!! :’(

    • on July 15, 2009 at 9:44 pm sharpld

Thank you for sharing, K! Your review made me want to cry. The moment with Black Keys sounds so moving.

I am glad it was everything you wanted it to be. :)

      • on July 15, 2009 at 9:49 pm ponedbyjb

Aww thank you!! It was & so much more!! It made me realize I have to go again!!

    • on July 15, 2009 at 9:50 pm coolmom823

An incredible journey, K, thank you for taking us with you then, and now in narrative.

Once again, your courage and determination to be yourself inspires me. I think it’s so cool that you were there to be a role model for that 16 year old girl.

I have watched your vid of Nick’s speech, but can’t make out what he’s saying. Do you remember any of it to share with me?

Your saying that it was like watching your best friends perform really struck home for me. THAT’S exactly why JB is so very special. Because they make all of us fans feel like their friends.

You have got me super excited for July 26!!! Are you sure you can’t rob a bank or something and come along? :D

      • on July 15, 2009 at 10:24 pm ponedbyjb

:) Thank you! I would not have the courage to be myself if I did not have so many amazing people in my life believing in me. I will go watch the Black Keys video & translate… that is the downside of my seat.. ALSO, if there is a bank to Rob I WILL rob it!! There were no tickets when I checked today, but I am going to keep checking.. it works for Hannah right??!! ;)

    • on July 16, 2009 at 12:46 am tlatzotzontli

Thanks for writing the concert report K! I really enjoyed reading that. I like that you made the concert an all day event and met so many other fans. :)

    • on July 16, 2009 at 1:04 am Sonnnn

Incredible! what a day! so great. :)

Yes Nick Jonas is completely over the top out of this world. What is it with him.

Oh I’m so glad you had a good time! You experienced so much!

When I go to the shows I pretty much just go to the shows LOL. No one I know has any patience for lurking or any of that before hand.

However I am NOT missing softball games in either city. I will BE THERE if there are any to be at.

    • on July 16, 2009 at 1:09 am Tiffany

Mer~ We HAVE to do that!!! It will happen.. I have total faith!! it will be even more amazing than this.. but this was so far beyond what I could have ever hoped or dreamed!! :)

    • on July 16, 2009 at 8:57 am mememoi

      Wonderful post, K!

I am so proud of you. You are incredibly adventurous. I have to admit I can’t see myself doing half of these things, all on my own. I am really impressed and it’s given me lots to think about.

It was very meaningful reading everything you experienced, I savored every word, as a fan of Jonas and a fan of yours.

      :D

    • on July 16, 2009 at 6:17 pm cpaig

      What an amazing story Kay!

      You are an inspiration.

I am sorry to hear about your post Jonas depression. I have been there. That is why their live shows are so addicting!

Thank you so much for the post!

      • on July 17, 2009 at 12:34 am ponedbyjb

Mem & cpaig thank you!! If the last 10+ months have taught me anything it’s that I can do it by myself.. Sure, it would have been amazing to have someone with me, but it is not a requirement. Of course I would not have the strength if I didn’t have such amazing people in my corner! ;)

  55. on July 16, 2009 at 1:11 am Trish

Oh, K! I am sitting here bawling my head off! Words cannot even express how thrilled I am for you.

    I need some more tissues.

    • on July 16, 2009 at 1:38 am ponedbyjb

Tlatz, I do not know where I get it from.. my parents HATE people! My mom has a melt down if more than 10 people are in a room… It is a blessing I am not like them. LOL.

Sondra I was WAY too excited to wait… lurking was the only choice..

T.I. It was the BEST day ever!!! I have no intention of letting that High go…

Trish, I did not mean to make you cry!!! I am sorry!! But thank you.. and I forgot to say this but EVERYONE wanted my buttons.. You should have sent me with extra business cards. :) I put all of them on my bag.. which everyone could see.. except for my I ♥ Hoffman.. that one I wore on my shirt. ;) but I am an idiot.. I forgot to wear my earrings!! Guess that means I get to do it again! :P Thank you again, and thank for all the joy and support!!

K thank you so much for your story. It is incredible. I am so proud of you! You were determinted to make this day the greatest possible, and it was. :) Now you have so many wonderful memories to savor!

The word was determined, not determinted. LOL I just noticed.

Thank you Molls… there were lots of obstacles to over come, but I made a promise to myself that nothing was going to steal my Jonas joy.. Next year I vote we go together! :)

Thank you for reminding me K! TRISH! I got SO many compliments on the buttons! I wasn’t sure where to put them so taht they didn’t fall off in all of my jumping around so I put them on my bag! Then for the show I moved a couple to my shirt! K, business cards would have been a brilliant idea! Oh well, for next time!

Yay! We love our buttons, too! (Trish, hope you got my email about that.) LBF has been wearing about a half dozen of them everyday, across her middle. I let her have an “extra” Joe – since you guys were generous – to give to a Joe-adoring friend at day camp and she gave away one of her band buttons to another friend who asked (got to spread the love and give ’til it hurts, right?) Funny, though, she has co-opted both of the album cover buttons (ALBL & LVaTT) and will not let those go. Pretty cool of her, I thought.

Thanks so much for my buttons too Trish! My friend and I fought over them in the car on the way to the show, and wore ours proudly to the show! They now have a permanent home on the visor of my car.
    Thanks so much!!!

Oh Kay, thank you so much for sharing your story! It was definitely worth the wait and not too long AT ALL… I loved every word.

The part about Black Keys had me in tears… Oh my goodness I can’t wait to hear it live!

I’m so happy that you had such an amazing time… I hope you get to go again as soon as possible! :)

Now I really can’t wait for my two shows in November… It’s so far away! I’m so glad I get to hear about everyone else’s concert experiences in the meantime… It helps a lot! :) ♥

Thank you honey! I am not kidding when I say Black Keys was a life changing moment.. I am so glad I got to experience it.. I cannot wait to hear all about your journey!! Please take lots of pictures of London for me.. It has been my dream to go there since I was 17, and to go there and see Jonas oh my lord that is too much for my mind to handle!!! Just savior every second… it is SO worth the wait!! :D ♥
