Entertainment – Tonight! [Watch]

They Guys will “ Take Over ET Stage!” tonight! They will also be on The Insider Check your local listings (ET airs at 7pm, and The Insider at 7:30 EST on CBS in my neck of the woods), tune in, and share you thoughts on this thread.

It’s on today though, not tomorrow. Today was just tomorrow yesterday.

Analysis:

Not much new information (at all), but I discovered that I don’t like these shows (bonus!). I think the promo for the interview was more revealing than the actual aired parts, and I was disappointed it was not just a full segment instead of being chopped up by footage and VERY young fans.

I definitely enjoyed The Insider more than ET. I can not say that I saw the Guys as “like have never seen them before,” but I am a superfan – so – I can be hard to please (obviously).

Entertainment Tonight

Best Parts:

Mommy = Valentine
Kevin knocking Mary Hart off of the Segway (she was not hurt).

Wort Parts:

The choppiness of this show is hard to take. You sometimes don’t know when they are doing a promo or in the actual segment. It often seemed like they were being asked questions that never got answered.

The Insider

Best Parts:

I really enjoyed the “speed round” questions. They went something like this:

Q: Who is the biggest flirt? Who sleeps the most? Who is on the phone most? Who sends the most texts? Who receives the most texts? Who is the messiest? Who is the neatest? Who is the diva?

A: Joe, Nick, Kevin, Kevin, Kevin, Kevin, Nick, Frankie.

I also enjoyed their answers to the GF question (from a very sweet little girl). They went something like: No, No Comment, No Comment. From Nick, Joe, and Kevin.

I am glad they are no longer being coy.

Worst Parts?

Everything non-Jonas that I was subjected to on the show. Esp. the Octomom stuff.

In the ET promo, Mary asks them if they have any sweethearts. I wonder how they’ll answer? Most likely “dodge and perry”. LOL. I laughed when they focused in on Joe’s face in the preview after that question.

As for the Insider and “taking over ET”, cute but nothing new.
I did love the Segways and Kevin running into Mary Hart not once but twice! Who’s nickname is Danger? LOL!

yeah that was confusing- I didn’t actually know there were 2 shows. Just pure coincidence that I saw them both because I was getting set to record ET and the Insider was on.

I didn’t think they were great appearances either. I don’t think it was their fault really. Bad format. But you know me, I always look for a silver lining. .

I am very excited about Letterman.

I will post another live thread tonight for those who want to watch and discuss.

Without wanting to sound negative, ladies – please, can I give you my honest opinion?

The show ET – it stinks. It is not a good show. That whole show was so confusing and ridiculous with the Tom Hanks movie and the octuplets mom and the JB – it was terrible.

Just show me a story and be done with it. And all the cutting to commercials – it made me crazy.

Well I am guessing that those appearances and the Letterman show will be the opposite ends of the interview spectrum (if there is such a thing).

But I liked the quality of the film and they did look amazing.

OK – OMG. That picture – Bauer Griffin whatever – is breathtaking. They all look so handsome.

Nick literally looks like an angel. Look at that expression on his face, and his mouth. He should be wearing a halo.

OK how much do I admire that kid?!

And he MUST have heard me when I begged for more scarves. Because he’s been giving good scarf lately!

Joe’s and Kevin’s coats – perfection. Love them. They really are men now – Nick is still a kid – so cute.

I was also just about to say that those 2 pictures are amazing! (I was going to say “awesome”, but I didn’t want to overuse the word!) flamom, I agree that the Bauer Griffin one is breathtaking. They really do look great.

I haven’t seen either show yet, but based on the promo alone….the extreme youth of the audience bothers me. Is that bad of me? As a fanlady, I find it offensive that people are stuck on the idea that they only appeal to girls under 13. UGH UGH UGH. I take umbrage. UMBRAGE!!!

I will echo the “meh” on the appearances and blame the format. They do look spectacular. Joe and Nick, especially. Not to dismiss my darling Kevin, but I think he may be a bit under the weather. His eyes aren’t smiling and they were all stuffy the other day. Feel better soon!

I am looking forward to Letterman too. It will be vastly different from ET and Insider.

The wax figures haven’t gotten better with time. They still spook me a little.

Nick is so tall! Kevin isn’t ready to give up yet, though. He is rocking the heels again. There is just something so “big brother” about that. I have to grin.

I agree they looked amazing but I’ll echo what everyone else said: the format was awful. How many times do I need to see the picture of pregnant octomom?

Not crazy about the 7 year old girls either….although I will say “Where can I get one of those shirts?”.

I must have been excited about finding out they were on the Insider because I wrote their instead of they’re. That is my third spelling/grammar error today. I must be behind on sleep.

SO excited about Letterman. I hope they don’t get asked if they have girlfriends again. That was just plain awkward.

By the way, you can respond (privately) to Nick’s Simple Wins blog. Bayer says they send the comments to Nick. I’m sure he reads them since it’s so close to his heart. So that might be a good way to get a msg to him.

I sent him one. Just saying how the “simple wins” he listed in his blog were more like amazing, and that I admire how he takes care of himself and that his mom must be proud, and that he is a terrific kid.

(So mature of me, right? I did not mention how hot he is at all. LOL!)

Just saw an ad for SNL with JB and Alec Baldwin on NBC (I’m watching ER). He says, “Hey, can I get an autograph for my daughter?” and Nick says, “Sure, what’s her name”. And he says “Alec”. It’s really cute!

I just saw Entertainment Tonight. Wow. What a complete fail. This was already mentioned, but I feel like they hardly gave the guys a chance to talk. Everything was so choppy and short. They did look fabulous though. Insider next.
