Our favorite Guys have poured their hearts out to M magazine about what they love most about the day of love, and what kind of Valentines they are. Kevin likes to share, Joe likes love notes, and Nick likes to pamper. They all love romance, and getting chocolates and love notes from their mom.
Kevin also brings up the “M” word again and laments that marrying young is out of style at the moment. I have this advice for Kevin (as someone who got married at 24 with much less worldly experience than he has – even though this is in no way any of my business):
Stop listening to people who you know don’t share your values in life and do what you want to do.

Luckily we know what the Guys are giving us on Valentine’s Day – an early morning stop at Conan O’Brien on “Friday” @ 12:35am and much anticipated guest appearance on (freaking) Saturday Night Live! And now that I know that there are boxes of chocolates out there that actually play Jonas Brothers music, my Valentine’s Day is made. I don’t know about you.

In other Fab-ruary gifts…I just popped by Perez Hilton (I know…I can’t stop…urgh) where he – quite respectfully I think – hasn’t been posting much on the Boys (this is good!)….well he posted the note the Santa-Barbara-date tipster sent him with the picture and basically snarked at the tipster for invading their privacy. Sometimes that Perez will surprise you.

I saw those chocolates at Target yesterday, but they were $13.00! I’m kind of a cheapskate about stuff like that.
Off this topic and probably already discussed, but I DVR’d the KC special and am so glad I didn’t have to sit and watch it. Puke!!!! An entire segment on the not-even-nominated TS (yes, she went there about Joe, or, actually, Katie did) and then 5 seconds of the nominated JB. Fail!!
And I watched Camilla on Kimmel. She was, in my opinion, lovely and very, very beautiful. I get it, Joe….

And she has been in the business for awhile. She was laughing a lot. She seems bright. But she still seems much older than Joe.

Justin Long’s brother was my son’s English teacher and JL comes to all the high school productions here.
And yes the JB chocolates were pricy! But we rarely buy Jonas merch so it was a splurge. And my daughter saw them yesterday so not much of a surprise on 2/14. We may even greak them out on Grammy night either to celebrate or comsole ourselves.

I buy my kids gifts for Valentines Day. My DD is getting a shirt and pajamas and Pez and my son is getting checkers (and other games) and a placemat with maps of the world (he loves maps) and Pez. He would not want PJs or a shirt. He used to, but not any more!

I do gifts for LBF too…we love all the holidays, as an excuse to show love materially, I guess!
Sometimes I go a wee bit over the top (the year I bought my daughter a queen sized pink fleece blanket and a Hello Kitty toaster for Valentine’s at the age of 3 – but we still have/love both!). And I’ll do themey toys (love Hearthsong/Magic Cabin).
This year I went “minimal” (ha!) and got her (at Target!) X & O cookie cutters and a snowglobe (she is beginning a collection…thanks in part to the spoils of my Jonasing travels) that plays “You Are My Sunshine”…and all the wrapping/trimmings of course!
She already got her heart of chocolates from her dad (who never respects the sacredness of holiday timing/traditions!!! You have to wait. Dang it!)!
That is sweet that LBF’s daddy got her chocolates! My DH does not do gift giving very often for the kids. He likes to do it but he just does not think of it often. (he’s good at getting me something but not from the kids, from himself, you know?)
We also have the Hello Kitty toaster! I worked at an all Hello Kitty store when I was a teenager so I have a fondness for her. LOL!
My big overboard was last Valentine’s Day when I got my daughter her copy of It’s About Time off eBay – $80! She’d had a bootleg copy, but it wasn’t the same as actually owning it…
She’s never been a candy eater. This year I’m getting her an Ugly Doll. She may be 15, but she loves them! LOL
Magic Cabin and Hearthsong – LOVED those when she was that age!
I told my DH that I want both versions of IAT – the INO version and the Sony/Columbia version … not that I’m getting them, but that is how I am – I would have to have both …
Oh flamom I would love an original IAT. I always wonder what the thank you’s and all of that stuff say. How priceless. And the pictures. Sigh.

Talk about breathtaking. Wow. I agree that they could have chosen one of the others, but he looks amazing in all of them. Thought they had the wrong brother, indeed. Poppycock, Kevin! He needs to look in the mirror after he puts his contacts in. Maybe then he will see what we do.

First of all, I want chocolates like the ones in the picture above! I wouldn’t dare to eat the Boys, though. (I once had this cute chocolate bunny that I kept for at least 6 months. I loved it so much, I could never have eaten it! But then my mom threw it out, because it was starting to look a little weird. Lol) The lovebug is adorable!
Trish, you are the coolest mom EVER. A copy of IAT has got to be the best Valentine’s Day gift I can think of… If only someone I know were smart enough to get me that.
The KC thing is so disappointing. All day at work I was thinking about coming home and watching it… But I guess not! I don’t want to see TS’s face. I don’t understand why she was there in the first place… Arrrrrgh. And she’s still talking about Joe?? It’s been months since they broke up – for the love of God, woman, get over it!!
Oh and those pics of Kevin – to die for. I looooove b&w photos, and these in particular were just so absolutely beautiful and artistic and sexy all at once. The one where he’s standing and looking down has got to be my favourite. I wish I could have that on my wall!

I’m fairly neutral on TS, but in her defense, regarding the KC show last night, she didn’t bring up Joe. KC did. KC asked what she had learned from that (I forget the exact question – KC asked what it was like to have everyone curious about her personal life and who she was dating. TS said it was different, or something like that. Then KC asked what she had learned from it.) TS said something like “I learned to keep in private.” So then KC/the producers show a clip from TS on Ellen and show the clip of TW with the Joe Jonas and TS dolls. So TS didn’t really focus on it. But I was thinking, when Joe broke up with her, she implied that she didn’t like that everything had to be kept quiet in their relationship. You wonder now if she understands why the Jonases are so concerned about their privacy. Maybe not. Maybe she still is playing the victim card and doesn’t mind that it gets brought up.
By the way, love the youtube video. Nick throwing everything at the end, and then shushing someone (probably the person filming, who was about to laugh, I’m guessing!) – priceless! Nick seems to be more comfortable in his skin. Smiling more. I don’t know. It was funny/fascinating, though.

I would love to see Joe wrestle with Big Rob. I noticed the comments are up over 6000. I wonder if the guys will really only read the first 1000 comments. (Although that’s a lot of reading!!!)

I agree that Nick was very hot playing the drum solo. But what was even greater was how adorkable he was when he slid his shades down trying to be super cool and they slid off his nose! Love it, weren’t we just saying how they can be hot and dorky at the same time and that is what makes them so wonderful?
And how Kute was Kevin when Nick threw the sticks and Kevin took off like “I’m getting the hell out of here.” LOL!
I don’t know, I’m torn. I think it would be kind of hilarious for Joe to wrestle Big Rob (I’m picturing Rob holding Joe up by his ankles, like a bat!)
But dancing would be hilarious too. How can we choose?
