    OMG cpaig! You are totally channeling my tween years with the Pinball Wizard vid! I saw “Tommy” in the theatre, at age 11, with my BFF Lisa (though we didn’t have that acronym then). We were HUGE Elton John fans. We had every album he made, practically worn out from being re-played.

    Loved the pinball machine. I actually had a full sized pinball machine in the middle of my bedroom when I was Kevin’s age. Ahhhh so loooooooong ago. LOL! Also, does anyone else notice just how young “the little one” looks in this video? After all the pics from the GG where he was looking so mature, (ok I was going to say hot but thought that was inappropriate)
    I was taken aback that he actually looks about 12 here. Just my opinion.

    Kayla also loved Joe’s Chucks, and we both had a huge chuckle when the bat got stuck in his scarf, too, Mollyanne.

    And Elisa, you’re not alone, 95% of the time I feel like the dumbest one on here, lol!! Especially when it comes to musical influences/references, or smar(t/m)y pants stuff. :)

    Totally unrelated to the youtube vid….but I was thinking….they probably wouldn’t do the traditional tonight at the Grammy’s right? They did it at the AMA’s not long ago (not that I wouldn’t mind seeing it again- I LOVE that song). So I was thinking (hoping) they would maybe do the slow version like they did in Nashville? How GREAT would that be?!

    But no one should feel dumb-I freely admit I know nothing about country or any of the Christian artists they performed with.
    But I learned so much from all of you and that made the whole Nashville concert thread really even more amazing for me.

    Yes, Elisa, LBF has (perhaps unfortunately) inherited a bit of my smart/my-ness (and her dad is way worse – I am mostly reformed), but yeah she was just like…”Whoa….what….he’s….what is that?!….is he gonna?…..ohmy….WHOOOOOOAAAAAAAAA!” about covers it. :)

    And I would love LOVE to see them do something non-traditional at the Grammys…people are starting to figure they know what to expect from them. A little *not so fast* performance would be good to hush the skeptics,you know?

    Ya mean the song, Merry? I had to think there for a minute. Actually, I do really like that song, it’s one of my favs. But they’re pretty much all my favs. I was listening to ‘Still in Love With You’ today, it’s totally a fav, too.

    The song ‘Amanda’ by Boston is an awesome song, too. DH and I were dating when that came out, pretty amazing. He used to sing it to me (insert awwwwwwww here). Man, I am ON tonight! ;) Too much caffeine, apparently.

    I LOVE Kev’s laugh.

    I also love the song “Mandy” by Barry Manilow. He has been looking rather sketchy lately but he wrote some beautiful songs that I enjoyed a lot (many years ago)!

    Is anyone else not finding any 3d movie tickets in their area? I’m hoping this is just because we still have over a month to go, but part of me is worried that I live in too small of an area and won’t get a chance to see it, well unless I travel to Boise.

    Tiffany, I am also not finding any in Detroit/Ann Arbor, Michigan. It’s starting to freak me out. I can’t believe that it won’t come here, because this is a major market, but I don’t know what the deal is with Fandango. When I pull up the sites for the big theatres hereabouts (one of which even has an IMAX) the site doesn’t even have a way to pull up showtimes for February 27! I don’t know what gives!

    well there was just 1 theater showing it in NY and I know it has to be playing in more than 1 theater.

    How will they have the biggest 3D movie opening ever if they don’t show it in more theaters?

    I accidentaly took an hour long nap….what is wrong with me?

    I wear a scarf every single day pretty much. It’s cold at my work so it keeps me warm. I’ve actually been wearing them since it was warm this summer- people thought I was nuts. Credit to the boys for getting me started on them :)

    Check individual movie sites. It’s basically going to be at Imax, Regal, Muvico. If you have Muvico in your area, you can check the Muvico site.

    Our 2 Muvicos will have it, but Fandango is showing nothing. So Fandango’s info is lacking.

    Saw a picture today, and I can’t remember where, but it was of the boys coming out of an SUV. Kev and Nick were dressed like they always are on a typical day: Nick in a button down and jeans and Kev in black pants, a white tee, and a leather jacket. And awww, Joe was in jeans and a zip-up hoodie with the hood up. He looked so adorable, I wanted to reach through the computer screen and give him a big bear hug. I think it’s so cute that everywhere they go, Kev and Nick carry really nice messenger bags, and Joe always has his backpack. He just seems like such a backpack kid and I think that’s so darn cute. :)

    Good Morning all… 6.5 inches of snow, and counting here.. I just want to cry!

    Brrrrr… I did not need any AC in the car this morning dropping the budgies at school! It was 55 degrees. LOL! I did manage to get out and get gas with just a tee shirt and yoga pants but I *was* a bit chilly. ..

    OK, now that you all hate me, I have a new observation about JB music to share. This is what I was thinking about in the car on the way back home. LOL

    Last night I was watching all the JB Official YouTube videos (I did not make it quite all the way through to the newest ones) and I saw the one where Nick and Joe are backstage and run out to perform Kids of the Future.

    So I just wanted to say that for me I am always finding something new and interesting everytime I play the same songs again. And when I see them perform something live that really helps me see/hear something new …

    So I just found it incredibly delightful to see (mainly) Nick and (also) Joe grab their mikes and immediately break into “We’re the Kids, We’re the Kids” while backstage running out in front. I can’t explain why (it’s the Jonas Fever I guess) but I really dug it … and it made the song sound ever that much more exciting at 8 am in the car today (while I was freezing my tushie off LOL).

    I just wanted to mention that more Regal Theatres are showing up in Fandango for the 3D movie. We now have two in our area – they are the biggest ones. We have two that are closer to my house and they are not showing up right now.

    but I am RELIEVED!!!!!! because one of the theatres shows it at 9 am and 11 am! And I plan to be at one of those shows Every. Single. Day. (mostly alone if not totally alone – well there is one friend near there who might meet me once)

    I am seeing it at Muvico with friends at other times. Muvico times have not shown up yet – but apparently Muvico is just south Florida????? I did not realize that!

    Tiffany, that OldTimeJonas channel is so cool. I had not seen a large majority of the videos that user has posted. The MusicChoice videos and full TRL video were cute but my favorite was the Making of the Mandy Video. I laughed out loud when Mr. Jonas was talking about getting hit in the head by Kevin’s guitar and needing stitches. He got three; one for each boy he said. Such a dad line.

    I’m late here, but I’m laughing so much at all the comments. Dieter on Sprockets!!! Oh my gosh, that’s the first thing I thought of when I saw Joe in that shirt. He totally should have had a monkey in that part of the video, just sitting there. They seriously know how to give their fans exactly what they want. My alltime fave video is the Nick J Show. The first time my daughter showed it to me, I was like “who on earth is THAT??” I couldn’t believe Nick’s guns in that video, and she said “yeah mom, and he’s only 15!” Then I felt creepy.

    I’d never seen the Terri Seymour interview, and oh how funny it is. Joe IS a ladies’ man and I love it, too. I think Ms. Seymour was a bit surprised at his response, and understandably so!! He does like the older women!! Yay for us!

    Monica, re Nick’s guns on the NJS video… I KNOW! I had just discovered the Boys’ music and I watched that video and was like, “Nice arms!!”. I even told one of my friends about it. She kind of laughed at me when I told her that I thought that the (then) 15-year-old member of my “new favourite band” was hot, (this was before our Dreamboat Captain sailed his way into my heart) and I just told her that “His body doesn’t look 15!!”. :) I still hasn’t convinced her… She is not supportive of my Jonas love, lol. Just today I said that there was this song that I really liked that I thought she should listen to and, after the look she gave me, I had to get on the defence: “Don’t look at me like that, it’s NOT a JB song!”

    Re: TS and Demi spending time together – call me immature but I don’t like it either. I just think that, after what T put Joe through, it’s weird that anyone who’s friends with Joe would want to be friends with her. But, I also understand that it’s difficult to “choose sides” when two of your friends break up. And I realize that I’m overthinking this. :P

    What was written on the hacked Wiki page? Something really “funny”, I’m sure.

    Yay, I got the time right! Lol.

    I’m not entirely sure about the length of the flight… Last time we were there we flew to Paris first (Helsinki – Paris, about an hour and a half) and from there to Miami, which took about 10 hours if I remember correctly. But this time is going to be a little different, because we’ll fly to London first (never been there! It’d be cool to actually go out and see the city, but just the airport this time, lol) and take a connecting flight from there. But I assume it won’t be much different, Paris/Miami or London/Miami… :)

    Oh, and I just had to make a quick comment about wikipedia. Most of my college classes also had disclaimers saying that wikipedia should not be considered a reliable source for papers. HOWEVER, I took an intro to accounting class and instead of buying a text book, we used wikipedia! I’m sure the professor double checked all the information on the site, but it was sooooo nice that we didn’t have to buy a $120 textbook.

    And that’s cool about your sociology class. I think more professors should start looking at the web for instruction, instead of using textbooks, that cost so much (!!) and outdate themselves often.

    Idk about their Japanese song either, tlatz…but I find it pretty entertaining as a novelty. And from the link I don’t feel like I have heard the song, really…it sounded very cobbled together by fans. But I am sure when I hear the real song I will still feel the same way, that it’s one of those novel trappings of international pop stardom.

    I have a little thing for international pop, but I skew way more Euro. All I know about Japanese pop is what I learn from the YouTube videos my 9 year old nephew makes about Pokemon or whatever. LOL. And this seems very much sonically in line with that…!! :)

    seriously, I’m thinking I just have really good luck. Yesterday I checked the youtube, and they had posted the new vid. literally 10 minutes earlier, and today I checked the myspace about 4 minutes after they posted that.

    This will be epic for sure. The internet will never be the same again. And neither will my life. I’ll probably be waiting in a justin.tv chat room for hours before the chat with hopes of being in the main room.

    I love these boys!

    I’m very excited, I also think it was very smart to announce this only a few days before. If they thought it was mayhem with the FanFamily announcement, this could become ugly.

    OK – I need to catch up, so I’m OT, but just want to squee a little bit. I just heard about the upcoming video chat Sunday so I watched the first video chat. I had never seen the whole thing – OMJ it is so cute, adorable, amazing. That NickJ – he is the one with the most “hidden” personality traits, to me. I think Joe and Kevin are more out there with their personality.

    I mean, please, Nick says “he does not talk a lot because he has nothing to say.” Right. Like he really thinks that.

    Did you see how into it Nick got for the 40 seconds of SOS they sang at the end? He is just too cute for words.

    Every teenager should be so passionate. Joe is so crazy.

    I did not like Kevin’s shawl – but he was very confident about it …

    Do you ladies see that Nick and Joe are like super close – and Kevin is not like that with either of them? Why not? Joe seems to depend on Nick to remember everything for him, Nick is like his wingman.

    flamom, I have also noted how close Joe and Nick are. Perhaps it has something to do with their ages? I’m not sure. I remember reading about that car accident, and it was Joe who “protected” Nick when the glass flew. It was Joe who brought attention to his parents regarding Nick’s weight loss 3 years ago. (and then passed out at the hospital). Funny, but also shows how sensitive Joe is especially concerning his little brother. Frankie is a lot younger and I’m sure they all have a special relationship with him, but it does seem that Joe and Nick are closest. Joe seems to hang on Nick during shows a lot. I love watching the two of them together.

    I’m confused by the track listing not incl Love Is On Its Way either. Maybe …

    the video for that song (which includes that footage we were talking about earlier) is on the DVD separately from the concert – it could not have been performed live for anyone since “no JB fan has heard it.”

    So maybe they are saving the track for their next CD, but including the video in the movie as a little bonus – look how we write a new song and make a video for it! Part of the behind the scenes stuff. I calculate live music to be no more than 60 min in the movie so there is 30 min or so of videos, backstage stuff, etc.

    K….I’ll have to look for the article about the car accident. In a nutshell, they were touring in either a van or station wagon, and were hit from behing by an 18 wheeler. It was a few years ago, but, Joe and Nick were sitting in the rear together, and just before the truck hit, Joe grabbed Nick, and shielded him from any flying glass. No one was hurt and I believe they went to Walmart and taped up the car with duct tape. I’ll look for a link to the article tomorrow for you as well as the youtube where Joe mentions passing out at the hospital when Nick was diagnosed with diabetes. I’d look tonight but I’m not like the rest of you night owls. Midnight is about my limit if I want to function tomorrow!
