NEWSFLASH! We’ve been working on this for a couple of weeks, and now we’re ready to launch. And with our recent hit-surge, it has turned out to be perfect timing! Please welcome…*drumroll*…our little Sibling Revelry home on Facebook for any revelers who are inclined to hang out there! [Note the new link button to the right.]

It’s brand new, empty and clean, and we thought it’d be a handy way to keep track of lots of things. We can post upcoming fandom dates & events there. You can also post photos from your show experiences (and whatever you please, otherwise), and sneak in and read all the blog content there, in its entirety.

Plus there are proper discussion boards - a semi-private place to gather, takeoff on Jonas tangents of your own design (since there are some topics we don’t cover in posts here), or get more personal and OT with each other – like a neverending open thread*! So regular commenters and lurkers alike, please go check it out – we hope it enhances your ability to revel on your own terms, and get to know one another better.

*Don’t worry, we’ll still have those, too, as needed, for anyone not into that crazy FB scene!

OMgoodness I can’t keep up with all the work you are doing mememoi and cpaig!

Can you offer some FB advice? I joined with the e-mail address I want to use … but I gave a fake name at the time, I did not feel comfortable with FB. Well, now I guess I need to get on it – my friends in town have been waiting and waiting – but it won’t let me change my name. Ugh. So do I need to get a different e-mail address and start all over?

if it helps I have been a member for like 3.5 years and I have never had a problem. You just have to know how to protect yourself.

I am no expert, but that may be the best way to go.

Hey, gals! Just cranking out the posts and should be asleep, but, Flamom, your best bet might be to delete your current profile and start over, if the one you’ve got doesn’t mean much to you. There should be an option under settings…I’ll look closer tomorrow.

Hmm, I’ve never wanted to get into Facebook, but now I think I’ll have to….guess I could join with a different email address so I can’t be found by stalkerish ex-boyfriends! LOL!

I have a tiny fb page that I started to keep in touch with some of my overseas friends but have since been found by 2 friends from high school. But I’m sort of keeping it small-as I don’t want to friend my 2 kids or my dozens of relatives. My 80 year old aunt just friended my 17 year old so it’s kind of cool!

FB! Wow! I’ve been a member for over 4 years and I’ve never had a problem. I just keep my profile private so that only my “friends” can see it. I just reject friend requests from people who I’ve never seen in my life. I haven’t kept up with FB much since I got done with school, but when I get home on my lunch, I will friend everybody. Yay!

I’m there! I just joined a couple of days ago, what a coincidence. Mostly I joined to keep tabs on my 15 year old! lol Luckily he accepted my friend invitation. I made myself a fan of SR so you can see my profile if you click on the pic of me and Kevin.

I’m there. I’m on facebook all the time – my whole family is now on there; I may be the only person I know who is facebook friends with both her parents.

Oh shoot, I’m going to have to rejoin FB now! I deleted my account a while back – mainly because I got tired of all the friend invites from people I never talk to IRL and, well, because I felt like I had no use for it. It’s a different strory now!

Thank you – I have fixed it, the only problem is it says I was born in 1992 and I can’t change that. LOL! Somehow I graduated high school at -5 years!
