Webisode 8 of Jonas Brothers Being Pepsi Smash Exclusive from Yahoo Music (I know I make the title different every week).
This webisode is all about how difficult it can be to navigate daily tasks when there is a language barrier. We see the Guys get through a radio interview, a bunch of other interviews, and a photo shoot that has a moment that made me laugh out loud (you’ll know it when you see it). Through it all the Guys manage to be professional and pleasant, even when they have no idea what people are saying (even when they are speaking English).

In the spirit of this webisode I thought it would be fun to imagine some photo shoot direction for you. What were the photographers saying to them when the snapped those pics?
“OK – So in this one Joe, you are trying to get away … away from it all. Kevin and Nick you are like “Aww Hellz No!” and try to pull him back. Will he get away? I am looking for tension boys, tension. That is not tension.”
“Nick, in this one you are very serious…like seriously wanting that bag of Hershey’s miniatures sitting here behind me. Kevin you are surprised like I just told you that I hate cheeseburgers. Joe, you are scared. I need you to peek through Nick and Kevin’s hair like you are peeking through the bushes on Halloween night. Is that bully who wants to steal your candy still there? Yes! You see him, and all you have to protect you are your brother bushes. Will he get you?”
“Boys, you are all very serious. You are at odds. Joe, put you hand on Nick as if to say “Dude, seriously, that is an ugly cardigan/tie combo.” Kevin you think it is fine and side with Nick. Can this gulf between you ever be bridged? You don’t know.”

This is so inappropriate, but Kevin’s bum in the top pic is making me giggle. Not in a bad way! Just.
Oh and also, I have a pair of clamdiggers the same color as Joe’s pants. I have a sneaking feeling they are at least half as old as Frankie, though, and this saddens me.
I think I may be the only person who actually enjoys the boys outfits in that last photo. I like them. Like them a lot : X
Oh yeah, re Kevin’s tight pants up there, I know! I don’t know he moves an inch in pants like that.
I was watching the “extra songs” (total of 2 – one Jonas and one Miley) on the Hannah Montana 3D Best of Both Worlds “Special” (meaning freaking expensive) DVD tonight – and the Jonas song is “SOS.” Well I thought those pants were so hilarious and tight when I saw that show, but the guys have squeezed into much much smaller pants since then! Those pants now look somewhat loose! LOL!
Cpaig – lol at the photographers’ direction. I can even hear the accent in my head. I have to hand it to DJ Danger .. he looks like the prototype for his own novelty ice cream treat at Disney .. and he is still hot.
Mememoi – In one video clip, Kevin mentions that his hidden talent is that he was a gymnast for years. Don’t know if it is true, but his bum and thighs would substantiate this claim.
Here’s my play-by-play of the video…ok so I was a little bored waiting for LTD to come on over here on the West Coast..
Wait was that Isabella (from the DC games)? Huh, I like her mic.
Nick’s amusement with that CD player is a little too..aww what the heck. It’s cool and I want one!
Ha, that German guy interviewing them has some SERIOUSLY blonde hair. I wonder how he does it. It’s not really natural is it? Wait, this man’s unnatural haircolor is distracting me from the Boys..Hope I never see him in the sunlight or I run the risk of being blinded.
Nick looks very cute in his gray sweatervest outfit. Very Breakfast at Tiffany’s (in the top 10 of fave movies)
Kevin’s shirt seems a little (read: REALLY) tight…hmmm…maybe they’re moving on from tight pants to tight shirts?
Aww..Joe’s little airguitar move. So subtle yet it made me chuckle how much he’s NOT paying attention.
Nick, I know how you feel. I kind of get like that after ONE flash, I can’t imagine after 100 or so.
WHAT did that photographer just say? Something about small dog of your brothers? Sorry. German accents are not my forte.

P.S. cpaig, for some reason, when I read all the captions for the pics you posted, I read them with a German accent.
Joefan – I was writing them with a German accent – LOL – well, in my head.
Mae – I don’t hate the outfits – well, yes the blue cardi, but other than that…
Oh – and I am totally with you on the sweater thing (Kevin’s).
If they do ever do a clothing line, I think they should keep it similar to what they wear (and not all sundresses – KEVIN). I think that would be cool.
And some awesome tee shirts – oh and they should do shoes too.
BUT I hope they don’t say it is how they think girls should dress (again) because that is a little condescending and patriarchal (not that I wouldn’t still love you Guys – it would sort of be like the CBO thing).

And you’re right sharpid, Joe can dazzle even in the most laughable of clothing. He is completely and totally amazing. The stars all aligned perfectly for him.

A little off-topic, but I wonder who chooses the music for the Pepsi Smash vids? “I Will Possess Your Heart.” How appropriate, even if it isn’t a JB song.

Re Nick’s shirt tie combo: I didn’t think it was possible to channel James Garner and James Stewart in the same ensemble, but Nick has managed it!
Re cpaig’s photoshoot captions: Loved them. Had to stifle giggles so that my kids wouldn’t wake up and want to know what was going on.
Re the vid: How much do you think Kevin would pay us in blackmail if we could get our hands on those pictures of him lying on his back with his legs in the air??!! Yup, that scene was definitely the high point of the webisode for me.

But I approve of their daring, as far as fashion is concerned. And I envy their ability to graduate from Urban Outfitters to Barneys.

See, when I think of JB clothing line, I’m thinking skinny jeans, button-downs and vests…and some awesome shoes. I agree with cpaig that maybe what they want to see girls in could somehow offend.
I think Joe will contribute crazy colored jeans, Nick sophisticated crewneck sweaters and Kevin vintage cool sundress. Either way, I’d love to be a spokesmodel (if it means late night business meetings with the bosses…:-))
