Some cool interviews with the Guys from Buzznet that were done August 16 before their show in New Jersey. The Guys seem pretty subdued, but are on point as always.
They go into lots of things such as the VMAs, shoes, their upcoming Disney Channel show “Jonas,” as well as Frankie, what is on their bus, and pre-show rituals. They are also asked what I think is one of the best questions they have been asked in a long time:
Has your success on Hollywood Records made up for what happened on Columbia?

Buzznet has also posted a couple of vids of the Guys answering questions as they pay a visit to the Yankees and meet Derek Jeter, as well as chat about what is on their iPods. There are some great pics from the 8.16.08 performance too.
N.B. Kevin is wearing the Phillip Lim shirt – it literally looks like the one Joe wore for the Rolling Stone cover shoot (meaning it looks a little wonky) and he is wearing sneakers! Adidas sneakers, but still.

These interviews where you read the questions always seem sort of choppy and disjointed. But it’s always interesting when someone asks them about Columbia. They are always diplomatic, but it’s GOT to be sweet to have the last laugh.
They seemed stoked to meet Derek Jeter. And by george, you’re right, Kevin was wearing sneakers. I guess even Kevin doesn’t wear patent leather to a baseball game!
Heh! You can tell they’re a little “mehhh” towards Columbia, but as coolmom says, they’re very diplomatic and polite. That’s admirable.
Also, when Nick was talking about the most surreal fan moments, I think he might be a little uncomfortable with nearly running over fans every night. After all, they need to get out in time to make it to the next venue, so no matter how many people are blocking the exit, they’ve gotta drive on. OY!
Totally hilarious about Columbia. I had to watch that 3 or 4 times. LOVE the laughing! That said much much more than words could ever say. We can all imagine what they are thinking.
I also love Joe joking about going to China before each show. Just good ol’ Joe.
