The Guys traded in their wiffle bats for tried and true baseball bats yesterday as they took in a St. Louis Cardinals game at Busch Stadium. The Cards lost to the Brewers by 1 run, but I don’t think that had anything to do with them.
Today was an amazing day in St. Louis. We started the day with a press conference. Then we went from the hotel to the stadium where the St. Louis Cardinals play. We actually got to go on to the field and have hitting practice. It was an amazing honor!!
We spent some time with the Coach and took pictures with people that showed up.
Then we went to a great ice cream spot. It is famous in St. Louis.
We ended the night in front of 18,000 at the Verizon Amphitheater. The crowd was amazing.

Is there a better way to spend a summer day than with a baseball game and ice cream? Not in my book. OK, I would add a hot dog…and some Cracker Jack which I always get at a game, even though I don’t really love it.
Oh…and they played a show. It got a pretty good review too (WARNING SPOILERS).

I loved the comparison of fan’s screams to “a dozen Beatles Ed Sullivan performances and twenty thousand “Psycho” shower scenes.
And “beyond the trio’s obvious heartthrob appeal they showed some serious talent too.” was nice.
YAY! I know – I love it.
Surely Nick knows it’s “batting” practice, right? I wish Nick or Joe would write on MySpace sometimes!!
Yeah…Joe’s writing especially was so energetic and distinctive. It sort of seemed like he left misspelled one thing too many and got banned. LOL.
I miss Joe too – he could write the shortest post and still convey more affection and detail then is sometimes present in a longer post.
Not that I am complaining. I love them all (the posts that is).
I think they are now more or less collaborations now.
And hey, I caint spell either, so no sweat there. I actually found it endearing, being a bad speller myself.
Hey Joe, Firefox has dynamic spelling – it is a life saver (oh yeah and the fact that I have someone who proofs my posts – thnx Mememoi)!
LOL – hitting practice – I thought something was wrong with that. It sounds violent.
Hitting practice sounds like it should have something to do with cage fighting. Definitely violent.
Do you remember the interview with JoJo at Wango Tango, when Joe said that’s what they do to get ready for a show? Cage fights with a lucky fan? Ha! He kills me!
I suspect the blogs are checked and rechecked now, since so many people are reading them. They’re almost always the top blog of the day or whatever. But I agree, Joe should write again. His were a hoot.
I think Kevin is writing them now. He is just very straightforward and a little “blah.” I would love some more emoting.
